The books method is both easy to read, very understandable, and when executed correctly; the results are astonishingly quick. Even thou my dog is 8 years old, it's all been easy for her to learn. After only 7 tries of the 3rd trick "Touch" my dog got the hang of it! The first time she leaned forwards to touch the stick (dowel rode) was an amazing site! (Her hips a bad so I don't make her stand up on her back legs for this trick) So yes, this books works and will truly transform and strengthen you and your dog's relationship.
One thing I found useful for trick "touch" was to drilling a whole in the side of a ping pong ball and gluing it on the end of a dowel rod, it helped get my dogs attention and gives a more visual area to touch. Coloring the ball makes it look like a more expense training tool. (Permanent marker works nicely)
It is really not that special of a book. What's really special is that you can find the content of this book for free on their website as well. I respect that so much, I bought the book. If you got the money, then support the author. If you don't, then go to their website.

Very basic trick book, would be good for a child just starting out. However I was really looking for more advanced training.Published on February 8, 2014 by Tarnya Parken
