Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Customers have negative opinions about the quality of the charging adapter. They say it's not real Linksys Cisco brand, and disappointed by the misleading OEM Manufacturer title. Opinions are mixed on performance.
Customers have mixed opinions about the performance of the charging adapter. Some mention that it works perfectly on most 5V devices and OEM parts work just fine, while others say that it doesn't work at all and is dead out of the box.

Customers are dissatisfied with the quality of the charging adapter. They mention that it's not real Linksys Cisco brand, disappointing with the misleading OEM Manufacturer title, and that it works but it'd be better off buying a genuine Cisco branded power adapter instead.
"As stated in other reviews; these are not Cisco branded power adapters. The length of the cable is about half of that of the actual Cisco ones...." Read more

"It's not real Linksys Cisco brand as I am expecting. And the most of all, it's not working! I am going to return it." Read more
As stated in other reviews; these are not Cisco branded power adapters. The length of the cable is about half of that of the actual Cisco ones. I gave them an Okay rating because they do work as performed. I was just disappointed by the misleading OEM Manufacturer title and the length of the cords.
This product is NOT "thin" and "sideways". The seller MUST update the main pic and remove confusion or my 1-star stays. It takes up 3 spaces on a power strip because it's "too wide", or else it must hang off the last/end socket. It LOOKS LIKE a ripoff of the linksys/cisco -- same plasticky feel, but different sticker. Sticker claims 5V DC 2A. I WILL report back after several months of use with Linksys SPA942 phone.
This is my report back -- Just today (3 Dec) I plugged in and tried to use -- DOA, no output. Just another Perfect Example of Total Garbage From China.

------------ I asked a question above ("This is not omnihil -- it's knock-off junk, in my experience, 50% doa - has anyone had better experience?") but I now can not expand on my question, nor ask another -- have my questions have been blocked? Here's my response to the response ("It worked for me. NEVER push a power brick over half its rated limit for more than a split second. Even that may pop the safety circuit and it doesn't reset. Its safely dead.") to my question above -----
50% DOA means 50% Dead On Arrival, meaning half do not work (in my direct experience). "NEVER push a power brick over half its rated limit for more than a split second" sounds like opinion maybe bent by awful experience. "Rated limit" traditionally (at least in America) means maximum continuous limit, with 50% or even 100% (a doubling, from, say, 2 amps to 4 amps) completely acceptable for a short time (usually at least 30 seconds, the usual "slow blow" time of traditional "slow blow" fuses). With the onslaught of Chinese junk, such as this pretender, the inverse has happened -- 50% DOA is their crazy norm, as is operation "NEVER" above half of the max rated value. They're literally just making up whatever specs, never caring what is the truth. That is presumably because we have been forced to abide the insanity of globalism. I scream, let's 'bring back 'Made in USA' for real, eh?
Also, I never wrote what power load I had operated the devices at. One came out of the box completely dead, never used for anything, never worked -- Zero power load. The other has never seen 1 Amp load, which happens to be 'half'. If it lives past a few months of use I'll be barely warmed -- it's really tough to overcome the massive and totally ridiculous 50% DOA (i.e., 1 dead on arrival) given by these two devices. This is not 'being too harsh' or unfair -- 50% DOA is a more-than-double cost that causes harm and time waste all down through the supply chain. The fact I'm (still) wasting time on this worthless toy evidences the more-than-double cost; it's just that I hope to save others the dread, cost and let-down, and also hopefully either put the idiot company out of business or force it using the only tool available -- the shame of bad press causing pocketbook / monetary woe due to abandonment by wary consumers. Why is it, do you suppose, that the smart and sensible Chinese people, in general, generally avoid products "Made in China" -- I propose that is true because they have learned over and over again the true high cost of 'cheap' and undependable sub-par quality.
If the device can "NEVER" run at more than "half" for longer than a "split second", then -- by definition -- it must be rated at 1 Amp capable, not 2 Amps capable -- and the fact that it is not (especially now that it has been revealed) is strong evidence -- in any court or reasonable mindset -- of mislabeling and even intentional fraud.
This is totally a 'teapot tempest' issue -- but, when you 'zoom out' you see that this problem exactly fits nearly everything else the world was tricked into allowing to be 'made in China' or similar, severely-imbalanced sweatshop countries.
"NEVER" more than half (of quoted) performance, and 50% DOA equates to less than 1/4 of value. In my book that equates to total junk. I'm wondering what others' experiences have been.
I have a wireless-G, LINKSYS print server (model no. WPSM54G) that needed a new power supply. The barrel jack on the end of the ordered power supply cord did not fit the jack pin on the print server unit. In order to make it to work, an additional barrel jack, converter item would need to be purchased. The experience was a royal p-i-t-a.
