Want your headlights to shine brighter and further but your current bulbs just aren't cutting it? Want to get rid of that old yellow light tint and give your ride an updated look with a cool white light beam? Look no further! Built with high power premium quality COB LEDs, these LED headlight bulbs will cast a precise light beam that will give you increased visibility, a wider viewing angle, and a much longer lifetime over conventional halogen bulbs. Tinting sleeves are included at no extra cost giving you the option to give your lights a blue, yellow, purple, or pink tint. The bulbs feature great heat management with 6063 aluminum construction (109% more heat dissipation over ADC12 Aluminum) and an Active Cooling Fan spinning at up to 9000rpms. While competitor's bulbs may dim after heating up to protect their LEDs, our Adaptive Cooling Technology allows our bulbs to shine at full brightness 100% of the time. With an IP-67 waterproof rating and an operating temp range of -40¡C to +80¡C, this LED Headlight Conversion Kit is ready for action. However, the plug that comes on it is NOT for an H11. I had to modify it to make it plug into my Silverado.
I used these on a 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer as Daytime running lights with no problems for the first year.
Overall 3.5 stars.
Pretty good headlights and fog lights. I use them on my 07 ford f150. They're very bright, wish they had more leds around it for even distribution, but for the price they're awesome. I used a set for my fog lights as well and they're very bright.
it's a two-sided LED bulb. the low-beam LED on one side, and the high-beam LED on the other side. both low-beam LED and high-beam LED will turn on with high-beam.
it's definitely brighter than the stock halogen bulb (Sylvania Basic Headlight H13 12V 60/55W). i wish i could rotate the COB LED position for a better beam pattern (the COB LED surface is not straight up or down). i'm not very happy about the lack of adjustability but i think it's good enough. i would go with a different LED bulb (maybe the three-sided one, or the two-sided one with both low- and high-beam LEDs on both sides) if i ever get a chance to replace these.
photo 1: low-beam: low-beam LED on. you can see the blue bulb base and the yellow high-beam-side COB LED on the reflector inside the headlight housing.
photo 2: high-beam: both low-beam and high-beam LEDs on.
UPDATE: changing from 4-star to 1-star. the fan on each bulb started to make noise (the fan struggling to spin) when it first turns on every morning after about two months. and now one of the bulbs flickers and settles with a dim light after a while. I'm guessing the malfunctioning fan caused the COB LED to overheat and burn out. not good. :(
