I bought my son the Xbox 360 last year after our house was broken into. I bought a refurbished XBOX (as I was obviously looking for the best deal) that apparently did not have any memory/disk space. My son was upset because most of his games required the memory. I was surprised at the price difference between the XBOX 360 with memory and the ones without - so I did some research and was very excited to find this disk drive. It was still significantly cheaper then buying the XBOX with memory already installed. It was very easy to install (open a compartment and push it into place and it has never given us problems even a year later.

Now, the hard drive does work. It does allow me to save my games and give me extra storage but it will not work with older games. It is a cheap knock off and I would suggest buying an official Microsoft branded one. The partition needed for the older games emulator does not exist on this drive so it will not work. So if you just want to play xbox 360 games and save stuff to it then fine. If you are looking to play older xbox games it isnt going to happen. You might be thinking "well maybe you got a bad drive" The answer to that is no, they sent me another one to be sure it did not work. You might even say "Well maybe it is just your Xbox" Again no I ordered an official one from Microsoft and it works great I was able to play my older games. So there you have it, get this drive but dont be shocked when it wont play older games

It worked for a year, and crapped out

It worked the way it was intended for about a year. All of a sudden, when I turned on the console, I got a red light, and it gave me a hard drive error. When I took out the said hard drive, it stopped giving me the error. I put the hard drive back in, and it gave me the error again. All of the progress I saved to the hard drive was lost, and there were a lot of games I could not play because I did not have space on my console to download them to the console. Do not recommend for a long period of time.

I bought this for my Xbox360 slim. My Xbox only came with the standard dinky hdd, so I had to order something larger, I picked the 60gb, not too big not too small. It's very straight forward, came on time, came inside a small box with bunless wrap. Take it out of the box and pop it right into your Xbox360 slim hard disk slot and voila, there you have it, a solid product, I've been using it for several months now, there's also a strap built into it for easy removal.

This product is worthless i waited almost 3 months for it to be shipped from china and when i got it the xbox 360 gave an e68 error message my kids were heart broken. The only this the company did was give back 10 dollars and told me to keep the drive they didnt want it back. They are aweful. I didnt know it at the time but i also bought a control from them that malfunctioned in 2 weeks.
The products they sell are cheaply made wont last and are a waste of time and money.

This hard disk works excellent, my son needed more space because his XBox tends to ruin disks so we decided to download his new games and ordered this hard disk. It took seconds to insert and within a couple minutes he was downloading GTA5. The download time was quick and he was playing GTA5 within a short time. He was also able to download Blackops 2 and still has enough space left for another game. I would recommend this to anyone looking for more memory for their games. Is a lot cheaper than buying the Microsoft hard disk, with this one you only pay half the price and get the same results.

This 60 GB Xbox 360 Hard Drive has all of the functionality as the Microsoft brand except playing original Xbox games. All of the Halo Reach play modes are supported, including online Co-Op. (Which makes your 4gb Xbox 360 more useful than the brick it is now!) Screw Microsoft, they should have fixed this Halo Reach issue a long time ago, and they were hardly helpful when I called them about this issue, in fact they were rude, saying something like I should have read the box that the 360 came in better. If you are like me, you are on your second or third 360, so buy this instead and don't give Microsoft any more money. I couldn't be happier.

Yeah Microsoft can be pricey but almost hitting the year 2014 I would think that people would have this common knowledge by now.
If it isn't legit you have to quit.
Had mine for a few months.. was working then the red dot of death came on.. went through some youtube vids to try to fix the problem.. Found something that worked "for a week" then back to the red zone.
By this time I tried everything almost to the point of kicking it across the room.
Just save the cash for a real HD from microsoft.. It will save you the cash believe me.
I waited and saved and got the 320gb from microsoft... Once I got it I put it in and wow heard and felt a click.. like they were made for eachother lol.
So stop wasting your money on hack HD's. Everybody wants something for cheap but thats a fools paradise.
And just a heads up you want the Hard Drive to have Xbox engraved on the case but even that can be a problem cause "anybody" can put anything in those cases.
Just go to the sorce thats your best bet.
