Other reviews stated that the clip system this uses is inferior to the tensioning screw system used by most other brands. I don't find this to be the case. None of the seven items I installed had any problems with the system at all. Five used the included drywall anchors and two mounted directly to studs. To hang it on the hook, you like it up above the hook, then slide it down the wall. Some reviews stated that lifting up gently with the clip system causes the item to lift off the clip. I did not find this to be the case, as it took quite a lot of pressure (more than a child could exert) to take them off the wall when the clips were *well secured* to the walls. Perhaps other reviewers were using manual screwdrivers instead of a drill/drive and couldn't get the proper amount of torque to tighten it down fully.
The hooks are indeed slightly deep for placement behind a bathroom door. For the door to open parallel to the wall, it would need to be need to be installed 4-3/4" away from the wall at the hinges. For reference, 4" is common. My bathroom door is 3-1/4" inches from the wall, and when opened all the way, butts against the first hook at an angle of approximately 85 degrees. This is not a big deal to us, and in fact, I didn't notice it at all until reading about it in other reviews.
For the toilet paper holder, be sure to install the clips at 6-1/2" O.C. instead of the 6-1/4" O.C. on the included template if you plan to use double-rolls with it. Otherwise, a single roll fits fine on 6-1/4" centers.Read more ›
Word of caution, be sure --if you're installing on a vanity--- you can swing up the bar upright without hitting the overhanging edge of your sink and have enough room to slip the TP roll over it. The bracket swings freely to at least 180, which as far as I tried it.
I've attached several photos of the Leland installed giving you an idea of the look and functionality. I do have a MEGA ROLL of TP shown in the photos which this holder handles with ease. Tissue comes off the rod with NO binding, tugging or tearing when starting a new roll. One photo from the top that looks like the TP hits the two sides and would hinder it coming off smoothly.......but it doesn't.
a swing up shaft. seems to be great quality. I just wish the Delta company would tell you what the mounting hardware is made of. In
a bathroom, I want stainless steel mounting hardware and screws so they will not rust.

This is a piece of crap/ I hate the clip attachments to hold sending back. I hope the tolel rack & large towel racks by Delta hold up. It is a piece of crapPublished 1 month ago by vernneal
Note, if you use mega rolls, it will be a close fit. Other then that, it was a very nice toilet paper holder. Very stylist and modern, excellent for smaller bathrooms.Published 6 months ago by JCG
Easy enough for my husband and kids and isn't that the priority? Mommy can't possibly be the only person in the house smart enough to replace the TP. Read morePublished 7 months ago by Jennifer
Piece of crap... This device is an embarrassment to Delta and the Chinese who made it. The theory may have been right in development but it does not work in practical application... Read morePublished 9 months ago by Amazon Customer
Just what I was looking for. It's solid and made really well. I love the way the arm swings up for a new roll.Published 12 months ago by The Not So Perfect Housewife
I didn't realize that this had a swing arm versus the spring loaded. I must say, I definitely like it better. I feel it gives it a nicer look and I love the finish. Read morePublished 13 months ago by Adam Dmitriev
