It sounded really good when used on a tester vinyl, however the build quality of the stylus itself is a bit questionable at best. While I am rather satisfied with what I received, many more particular vinyl collectors and listeners may want to be a bit wary when it comes to buying a replacement stylus for their cartridge. When I say "build quality", I refer specifically to the azimuth of the stylus in relation to the actual clip that it is in; it looks like it is off by almost 45 degrees, but after looking at it for a while it may have been the angle at which I was viewing the item. I am going to check the stylus from time to time (which is just me being a screwball, really) to see if I am imagining things, but I'm not going to complain since it was a free turntable that I bought it for, and I'm only going to play more worn records on it anyway.
What I'm saying is, if you are really strep for cash but REALLY need a stylus, go for it- albeit at your own discretion. More serious vinyl collectors should probably just go for the 'gold' (That is, the real deal.).
