We live in Colorado and have hardwood floors. We wanted a large durable mat/boot tray to put our wet boots on after coming in from the snow or rain. (The attached photo I have pulled the boots out a little just to make everything visible since coats were in the way. It’s usually by the door. We folded it up to half size ATM in our foyer closet as we are moving stuff around in our home). The mat is large enough to generally hold at least 4 pairs of adult boots. It is well constructed with grooves where water doesn’t collect and get stinky. Your shoes dry quicker. It’s of substantial weight and durability and definitely going to last a long time. We live in an apartment but previously owned a home in a southern state where we had a similar mat outside (under an awning) for boots and gardening shoes. It was of lesser quality, just a tray with no grooves and the heat wore it down until it cracked and rotted. We opted for this item even tho it’s use is for indoors. If you are looking for outdoor use keep these things in mind. This item will not just protect your floors or truck bed, etc., but you likely won’t have to replace it often as it’s well made and durable.
