I wear these on my bicycle. They're thin enough you can see shadows of chest hair, nipple, or undergarment if you look closely.
They wick away moisture REALLY well and are comfortable by themselves between 45F and 75F (6'6" or 197gm, and 266LBS or 125kg).
From 34F to 45F, these are fine as an undershirt with a thin jersey or jacket over the top, though at 34F, it's a little chilly until I'm warmed up.
They don't block any wind, so if you're not pushing hard enough to huff and puff, move your temperatures up a bit.

Fabric is durable, as is the stitching. They are inexpensive shirts, and I like that. If I tear it on something, no big deal.

I've sent a few of these through the wash several times, and I always run them through the dryer on low-heat + very-dry. The fabric has suffered no shrinkage, embrittlement, etc.

These are the same shirts that some of the local print shops sell for 5x with a single-side print.
If you run such a print shop, the price here seemed to be lower than what some local wholesalers had.
If you are an end-consumer and don't need prints, or have your own dye-sub shirt printer, these are cost effective.

Know that when I bought them, shipping for one was the same as shipping for 10. Buy in bulk if you can.

These compare really well to all of the major sports shirt manufacturers such as Champion and Gildan.

I am completely satisfied with the A-4 line of shirts, as an HVAC Technician in Texas it's HOT. Having a bout with Melanoma I need protection from the sun. My shirts are tougher than others I have tried and clean up very well. I highly recommend the A-4 shirts for any outdoor activity .

.... Yes, I am a female who bought this shirt. & yes I am aware it is for males. I was looking for a dry fit shirt that was loose fitting, & for some reason all clothing made for women has to be skin-tight, which I'm not comfortable in, so I have resorted to buying this loose fitting shirt for men. I usually wear size medium in women's but I know men's sizes run bigger so I got a small. The fit feels good, & it was just as I expected. The only thing is that the sleeve is very loose fitting around the upper arm area, & I'm assuming that's because guys have bigger arm muscles than girls. But the shirt looks great & feels good when I work out.

I don't know if this was a labeling problem or just terrible sizing. I purchased the Large, and it didn't nearly fit as other large shirts do. I've included a photo of the shirt laying on top of a Nike Dri-fit shirt of the 'same' size. As you can see, this shirt is much smaller in all dimensions. The price was low for a shirt, but high for something that will only be useful as a rag.

Vapor Apparel Men's Basic Performance Long Sleeve T-Shirt ($19) vs. A4 Men's Cooling Performance Long Sleeve ($11). I couldn't decide from reading the descriptions which one would work for me, so I ordered one of each. Both are holding up well to regular use and washing. Bottom line the Vapor is a slightly heavier material and cuffed sleeves which works to provides better protection from the sun and wind. The Vapor shirt works better for being outside doing yard work, etc. during the summer heat. A4 is very light material and the sleeves do not have cuffs. It that works better for bike riding where you are trying to not over heat when riding in the 80-95 degree range. As a melanoma survivor, I would recommend you wear sunscreen on your shoulders and upper back while wearing any light weight shirt. I did not have sizing problems with either shirt and will buy more of each for their specific use.

Fits well and color is as pictured. My only critique is that the sleeves are just a bit too long and need to be hemmed, you can see in the picture. But that's a personal preference of mine. Still recommend to everyone!

For those of you with a gut! It drapes nicely. As mentioned before the arms are a bit long but they're practical.

I ordered a 2XL and I was afraid of t being too small or too tight as with some of the other similar type of shirts that I have tried but it fit loosely on me which is what I like and wanted. I was looking for a shirt that was long sleeve so that I could wear it when doing out door activities in the summer and forgo the sunblock and it kept me cool and dry in the high and mid 80's. I have not yet had temps above 88 but for me I was not hot wearing it.
