I have to say, it does everything and it does it well. The 80 lumen lamp is bright enough so a power point presentation is readable with the conference room lights on, using it to scribe schematics onto material in a well lit workshop, I eve. used to for the 2nd screen feature for an F1 race recently, with a lot of ambient light pouring in from outside, and the image looked good.
The only cons, and these are minor ones at most:
The cooling fan in the unit can be a bit noisy if you are watching video with no audio in a quiet setting for an extended period of time, if there is any background noise it's hardly noticeable.
The colors in video appear a bit vivid, but this may be to me not having played with the settings enough.
The built in speaker is very tinny, not worthy of being used for audio, but would do if no other alternative is available.
Other than that, the unit is great! I was surprised with the accessories that were bundled, a tiny tripod was in the box, which was surprisingly sturdy. For the price point this is an excellent buy if you are looking for a small, versatile, portable projector to tether to a laptop or tablet on the go.
Even at that a PPT file can take minutes to load. I've loaded a text only PPT file 780Kbs in size and the load time is near 5 minutes with the file located on the P4 itself. Not USB drive. The presentation does play back but you'll need plenty of load time so plan ahead. Getting files onto the device can be a work in itself. Only one usb port for both keyboard and mouse then nothing to use to load your files from. The smaller usb port doesn't appear to do anything on our unit, your mileage may vary.
The best method I've found so far is to plug the P4 into your computer and transfer files that way, probably best just to play back your files from a PC too and just skip the built in software.
Buy this if you need a portable projector plugged into your computer for presentations.
Buy this if you're up for a challenge transferring files to and from. What should be easy will provide hours of fun.
Don't buy this to rely on the ability to view presentations with the built in software.
Don't buy this for Windows CE, unless you know what it's good for.
Don't expect the included tripod to be of any use. By itself it might work but, once you connect wires to the P4 the tripod is like balancing a bowling ball on a toothpick.
You might be better off with the Windows CE free version. Just count on using this plugged into your laptop.
What I liked:
Small size. Portable
Battery operated. Good life. 3 hours to recharge to first time.
Supplies cables. Though may have to find adapters to other devices.
Connection options
Tripod mounted
Buttons and menus easy to use
Surface texture easy to grip.
Bright projection in small spaces for small groups
My concerns:
Had some issues keeping the supplied VGA adapter cable connected to unit. A little loose in port. Had to use tape to keep it from falling out. I think the weight of the cable a bit too much. Trying another cable or HDMI next time. Does not come with minHDMI/HDMI cable. Because this issue, 4 stars other wise would have been 5.
My Plans
I will try the remaining viewing options and connections. Test battery life and cables in other scenarios and conditions.
Connect to other devices; laptop, disc player, a phone( with adapters) that has video out. Connect speakers
Overall very pleased with this projector. John Perez, Owner, Indy Photo Coach.com

Publicité non mensongère. Il tient vraiment dans une main. Possibilité d'obtenir une vision au plafond.
Image correct.
Extremely portable. Fan can be a little noisy from time to time but more than manageable. Worth every penny.
