AAXA Technologies Inc was founded in 2008 as a developer and manufacturer of a new class of projector known as 'micro' projectors and 'pico' projectors. AAXA’s core technology is based on small LCoS (Liquid Crystal on Silicon) and DLP (Digital Light Processing) imagers mated to LED (light emitting diode) and Laser light-sources that makes micro projectors and pico sized projectors possible. In 2010 AAXA launched the world’s first laser pico projector and today remains a leader in mini-projector technology. AAXA holds several patents in optical and LCoS designs and manufactures the majority of its products in China, with core technological development occurring in both the Silicon Valley, California and China.

pss i use the hdmi cable to connect my tablet and the av cable to connect my ipod touch 4g. i have dicovered the problem with the ipod is a restraint apple built into the ios which they could fix if they wanted to but have not done.
ps for all of you that want to use this for power point or pdf i solved the problem while the onboard processor does not read powerpoint or pdf it does read jpg so i used "open office impress" to build a powerpoint presentation then i saved it in pdf which i then converted to jpg with "pdf converter v1.26" both these programs are free and they work very fast the pdf converter converted all the pages as single files and named them in the same order as the pdf was. now i can do my presentation from an usb stick and it is beautiful.
-Regular HDMI Port
-Can be taken on the go with the battery charge (sold separately)
-Remote operated (good luck seeing the buttons in the dark though)
-Very loud fan
-Speakers are horrible
-Needs to be re-focus after nearly every use
-Once focus, it will not be even. Meaning the center will be focus but the corners/edges will be slightly blurry
-Expensive. If this cost Around $200. Yes, sleep on it but for over $350+? No
With how technology is advancing so quick. Save your hard earned money for one of Epson's VS models.
My personal short story:
-Wanted a TV/Projector
-Went with Projector because it's easy to pack when moving out.
-Will be using the Projector for movies, video games and work/school
-Did massive research because a quality projector costs a pretty penny.
-That the AAXA P300 has a LOT of great reviews. Top 10 this and that. Checked out every youtube video on it....sure it's a little dated (2015/2016 if I'm not mistaken) but that's okay because we're here for the quality right?
With all the Cons out weighing the Pros. This item will be sent back and I will be purchasing one of the Epson VS models. It's more affordable (depending on which model), better quality, better customer support and reliability BUT....then again, that's what I've read. We'll see.
As for the company AAXA.
I went ahead and bought some extra accessories and they seem to be all used. The tripod had a dent in it, the cables that were purchased were all opened.
After contacting them with 2 emails, not one reply was given. I asked the quality of the items and if they were being sold used. No returned email at all.
Hopefully this will help others finalize their decision before spending over $300 on a projector. It's always good to save money but we get what we pay for and with the way technology is advancing, you'd want something that is up-to-date and worth the price that's being paid.
Sidenote: I never heard of AAXA before looking into projectors. They seem very promising with their other projectors (newer models).
