I love this little book, and have gifted it several times to friends who appreciate the beauty of hand craftsmanship and artisan skills.
It is really more of a tribute - a loving bit of poetry - musings on a very special set of skills, and appreciation of a history that has been passed down to us, that could be forever lost if we do not take note.
Even the graphic design of the book itself is simple, yet very thoughtful.
An ABC of Hermés Crafts is a wonderful companion piece to Impossible Wardrobes by Tilda Swinton & Olivier Saillard, another wonderful meditation on clothing as object, armature, enriching our lives, enobling, telling stories even after the original wearer exists no longer.

The book was extremely disappointing. Its more like a dictionary. Has no information on the crafts.
