I would have welcomed this book in the twelve years that I have been using and teaching NLP. I will recommend it to my workshop participants. -- Groupvine Magazine, September 1996, Michael Mallows
Joe has a sense of humour and using his book will be pleasurable as well as useful. -- Group Relations Magazine. June 1992. Elizabeth Hendry
This book contains a sometimes understated humour. It offers a useful back up and . . . an even more effective resource. -- NLP World, March 1994. Keith V. Trickey
From the Author
"I first wrote An ABC of NLP because I found myself hung-up on the jargon when studying the subject. I recognise that jargon is really a shorthand system of ensuring that we all share the same understanding of a particular concept, but felt that it would be useful to have available a tool for simplifying that shorthand. I wrote,in the first edition, that the book was not intended to replace any other books on the subject, but would be a useful tool to keep by one's side when studying those other books.
"Stephen Bray subsequently supported my revision of the book, which is the current edition. His design for the innovative cover was mainly responsible, I feel, for the book having been short-listed for the award for best self-published book of the year. His updates to the book itself were prompt, effective and invaluable." Joseph Sinclair, author of the first edition.
