Two other points - the color of the wood is black, not brownish as in the picture. Also, the rivets are metallic, but they are stamped out of long strips of metal. So they are connected, not individual ones like you would see on more expensive furniture. But I think the rivets look fine.
So, if you are in the market for a good value stool, this is it.
