My only complaint with these things is the tiny screws and the manual installation of heat-sink stuff. It's all a bit fiddly, and the screws are hard to get started without a magnetized tiny screwdriver to keep it from disappearing inside your PC.
It's really pretty amazing how far drive technology has come from the old spinning disks, and so quickly. Pretty soon components will be so small and powerful that your phone really will be as robust as your computer, which will have leapt forward in some other way, hopefully a non-evil one. Nvme? Not evil.

Wanted a PCIe gen 4 drive cause my old 1TB drive was PCIe gen 3. This drive is the cheapest and best option at CAD $109+tax. It works so well and speeds are as advertised (photo), I just bought a second one at CAD $99+tax. I actually wanted a 2TB drive, but two of these are cheaper than every 2TB option of comparable or greater speed.
The other thing I want to point out is that this drive beats every other brand in terms of price - Samsung, Crucial, Kingston, Sabrent, Western Digital etc - at this level of performance (~5000/4500 read/write). I still have a 256GB ADATA SATA ssd (it is just sitting in a box now) from 2013 that still works. It used to be my OS drive back in the day. So pretty good brand in my experience.
You can buy ~7000/5000-5500 read/write drives that are faster, but the price difference doesn't justify the performance for me. Obviously, if money is no object, or you want the best performance, then pay $40-50 extra and buy the faster drive.
Also, I would not suggest buying a PCIe Gen 4 drive that is like 3000-4000mb/s read cause at that point, you might as well buy a gen 3 drive and plug it into the pcie 4.0 slot. You can buy 1TB Gen 4 drives that are like $10 cheaper than this, but basically offer only the high end of PCIe gen 3 performance.
Purely for gaming, unless you are planning on gaming at 8k, for the lifetime of the drives (~5 years according to the warranty), the speed of this drive should be plenty (imo).
My regular games right now are Elden Ring, Apex Legends, heavily modded Skyrim/Fallout 4 (4k textures from mods), Ark Survival, Civ 6, Valheim, and Mount & Blade Bannerlord. Playing everything at 4k on High/Ultra. Everything loads fast, I actually notice a difference in load times compared to my gen3 drive.
I registered the first drive on the ADATA website. Just got the second drive, so I will register it when I install it. If the drives die anytime soon, or the RMA situation is a nightmare, I will change my review.
Only negative is I wish this drive had a 2TB option at roughly double the price (CAD $209-219). I would have bought that instead. Otherwise, great buy.
