What's in the box
Product Description
Improved Data Integrity
With support for LDPC (Low-Density Parity-Check) error correcting code technology, the SU760 can detect and fix errors to ensure data integrity and thus enjoy an extended lifespan.
Resilient, Shockproof, Quiet
With no mechanical components, SSDs are more resilient than HDDs. They are more resistant to shock, vibration (1500G/0.5ms) and a wide range of temperatures (0°C-70°C), therefore providing better protection for your data. What’s more, SSDs also run silently and consume less power.

- Ridiculously Fast SSD!! Rated Speeds are TRUE!!
- ADATA Reliability with a 3yr Warranty
- SSD Toolbox & Migration software available too
- Decent build quality, doesn't feel like it would break if you sat on it.
Cons:
- None so far. Worked great right out of the box!
Conclusion: There are a tone of inexpensive good SSD solutions these days. It's a great time to need to upgrade that old PC or Laptop. Speeds were also exactly as advertised which is great to see at a 39.99 price point. I included a screen shot of 4 different SSD benchmarking tools which all seem to confirm the SP550's rating.
Crystal Disk Mark - 557.0 Read / 456.9 Write
Samsung Magician - 559 Read / 463 Write (faster than my 250GB Evo @ 405 / 423)
AS SSD - 501.23 Read / 464.87 Write
ATTO - 558 Read / 475 Write
One last thing. We placed this in an HP G72 w/ Intel Pentium 2.3Ghz & 3GB DDR2 Ram originally running Windows 7 64 Bit. My client was on a tight budget so it was a choice between SSD or Ram. And considering it had years of cruft accumulated and a few viruses to boot a clean install was going to be needed anyway. So SSD it was. Boot time improved by half!! Went from 1 minute 4 seconds to just 27 seconds after the upgrade. And that's with all updates and programs reinstalled! Client loves it. We'll hunt down more ram later. But for now... going SSD was the biggest bang for the buck. Get some!!

If you are looking for a relatively cheap way to expand your storage and can do without hardware encryption, then the SP550 is something to consider.
If you intend to run your OS on this drive, I would recommend spending a bit more and buying into a higher tier SSD, such as the Samsung 850 Pro (which comes with a 10 year warranty, hardware encryption and unparalleled read/write speeds) or the Crucial MX200 (which comes with a 3 year warranty, hardware encryption and better build quality than the ADATA).

On my older HP laptop I decided it was time to dump the 5400 RPM mechanical HDD and put this bad mamma in it and wow what a difference! BIOS/UEFI loading takes longer than Windows 10 now days. I get all of the way through startup junk in like 5 seconds.
If you're looking to jump your performance for a little investment this is deffinately the way to go. The first of this SSD I dropped into my PC at home that I use for all kinds of things from work to watching videos. Having downsized from a 1TB HDD to this smaller drive I thought I was going to have a hard time but I just used my 1TB as a data store and now I have plenty of room for everything.
I'm certainly a huge fan of these, especially because I'm legally blind and I have to use a screen reader for computers. Usually it took FOREVER to load SuperNova or even NVDA on my laptop but not any more. Even the resource whore screen readers I use load in no time flat.
The only con I can honestly come up with is that when I go and sit at my work computer using a 7200RPM HDD it's sllllllooooooooowwwwwwww-w-w-w and annoying. It takes something near 5 minutes to load Windows and get to my startup screen, then after I login it's another 3-5 minutes for all of the startup junk. Obviously it's not this SSD's fault that other drives perform at a much slower read/write but it is really annoying LoL.
