As I wanted to avoid formatting the disk (not the first thing you want to do when you buy a brand new disk, am I correct?), I went to ADATA web site to check if they provide any driver (like Seagate does!) but there is no trace whatsoever about such driver.
At the end I ended up formatting the disk to exFat to have it cross-compatible with Microsoft.
Good product, lacking of proper product support.
I'm going to school for 3D modeling, and one of the problems I had was not having enough time to transfer my work from school and then take it back home to work on it there. I had a flash drive, but it took too long and the next class professor would kick me out before it was finished. I even tried using cloud storage but with that I had the same issue.
I bought the drive in February 2014 and I would recommend it to anyone who wants an extremely fast drive. Sure it doesn't have as much space as an external hard drive but I just use it for project files and homework so space hasn't been an issue for me.
The only complain that I'd have about it is that it is so darn good looking. I keep thinking I'm going to scratch it beyond relief (even though it's scratch resistant) so I keep it in the included leather case. Even in the case it still looks really nice and can fit in your pocket!

Purchased this to run my Virtual Machines via VMware. Only have 128GB on the Mac SSD and the 2 VM's I run take up 35GB each. The VM's run great on this drive. Read morePublished on February 26, 2014 by John Phillips
