I work for two different. elementary schools. I provide testing, explanations, and different resources for parents and children. I use ADHD Practical Strategies for Reducing the Deficit in explaining ADHD; in doing so,I think it helps create and offer parents education towards ADHD, giving them ideas for the best options for ultimate success, and life skills that are out there for children and parents struggling with this disorder. In my opinion education is the fundamental key in owning and managing ADHD. Love this book. There is so much negative and misinformation out there. Again I give this book a 5 star rating!

I am working with middle school students and have found that I use this very little. I think it would be a great purchase if you are working with younger students. I thought it was good enough to loan to a parent of a child who has never been diagnosed with ADHD to give her some ideas for managing his behavior while the diagnosis is explored.

Nothing especially new to me here, but I like some of the charts in this book. It's very homespun, nothing snazzy, probably a labor of love. It's a little disorganized, but otherwise it is very clear.

Often time when working with ADHD kids the majority of my work is with parents to help them learn to structure life for optimal performance with their kids. This book gives excellent worksheets and resources to assign parents.
