4.0 out of 5 stars Lightweight bag and good price for what it is.

I have not used this yet in the field, but that will be coming here shortly and I will update after my trip. The bag appears well made as I didn't notice any immediate issues such as faulty stitching or crappy zipper snags. The bag has a mild odor upon first unpackaging, but it dispersed after a day or so of being opened up. The only reason I would see the need to wash is too dispense the down a little, but I was able to address the small area where the feathers clumped manually. The bag is different from any other bag I own, as it is not symmetrical and obviously has the cinch end where the footbox is. I did not have a problem fitting this back into the stuff sack and mine is the large version. It is light and packs nicely. Time will tell if this will keep me warm and hold up to my trip thrashings. See my pics.
UPDATE:I had this bag out for a couple of cold nights this past weekend temps were right around 32. The first night I slept in my jeans and a long sleeve shirt and was totally comfortable. I did have to get up in the middle on the night and the zipper does catch a little if you are not paying attention, but that can happen with any bag. Luckily with the large drawstring openings I could slide out of the bag easily. The next night after hiking in snow all day my pants were soaked so I slept in my shorts and a t-shirt and again was nice and warm. This bag is a keeper. I will say I was sleeping on an air mattress and sleeping on my back up bag had this one failed to live up to its temp rating. I am sure sleeping on top of the other bag gave me a little r value boost on my back.
