Yes it costs a tiny bit more. The real question is not how much it costs but how much it will cost if we don’t use products like this. Sustainability is important for every individual to do their part. No matter how small.

I like the natural look of these sponges and the fact that they are biodegradable. I was worried the white part of the sponge would turn yellow or orange after a few uses but was surprised that it took a couple weeks for that to happen. Plan to replace them every 3-4 weeks, as the scrubber will detach from the sponge around this time. I wish they lasted a bit longer.

They hold the soap very well and the coconut fibers help remove any stuck items on my stainless pots. This product plants one tree if you purchase this item . I highly recommend this item!

I recently bought these bio-degradable scrubs for cleaning dishes in the kitchen. Was sceptical at first but loved the product after using it. The brown mesh is made with coconut fibers and they remove hard oily stains easily. The white portion is softer than the regular yellow scrubber which feels great to hold them. The fact it’s good for earth makes me happy too!!

But they seem sturdy and do the job. But I just started using them, so I don't know how long they'll last, but I've been giving it some pretty heavy duty scrubbing, and so far, so good. If I had a complaint, it would be that because of the scrubby part, which is fairly stiff, it isn't as flexible in getting around the rims of cups and glasses, etc. Not a biggy, though.
