I purchased to see if I’d like taking underwater pictures while scuba diving. It took me a few dives get it down, but it was ultimately easy and took fairly good pictures and videos up to 90 feet! Got a small amount of water in the housing on my first dive although I had it correctly closed as shown. It dried out overnight and worked well on my next dive. By dive 6, the housing completely flooded and the camera no longer worked. When I got home I reached out to AKASO, who responded immediately and suggested several steps to take. After trying everything suggested, they simply replaced my camera! Great little camera, great price for a starter camera, and super customer service!
Highly recommend and cannot wait to try again on my next dive and on my road cycling events. Only wish they offered filters for correcting colors during diving.

Seems to be a great little camera for the $
Will be trying this out soon real world rough off-road use. Main purpose, off-road trips and some in vehicle recording. I've experimented putting some of my practice vids from this on YouTube with acceptable results. Not the same as my high end Android phone although it should be considered excellent for the price. Small and lightweight compared to some other action cameras no matter the price. This is my first action cam experience been using a good quality phone camera in the past, just too risky having that out in the desert in rough conditions all the time though. I've been experimenting with this AKASO Brave 4 for about 2 weeks now. Takes relatively short learning curve for understanding button & scroll for settings although once you get the hang of it it's pretty intuitive. At this price point don't really expect touch screen and that may just be a point of failure so standard multiple button push settings may result in more durability. Likely never go under water, nice to know it's there. I may use waterproof case for extra protection & dust with included 2nd door with slots (better for recording sound with waterproof case on)

I've had the camera for a few days now and my initial impressions are:
- Quality seems excellent. I really only need to shoot in 1080p (4K is really too large for most purposes) and having 60fps is desirable, the right boxes are ticked already.
- Video stabilization is essential on the motorbike, and this little camera does an excellent job with the footage.
- The remote control is very useful and functional. I've attached it to the handle-bars, so I can easily stop and start recording video...PLUS, if you are recording video, you can hit the photo button on the remote and it takes a 20MP photo without interrupting the video. This is so useful for taking quick pictures of lovely scenes and still get the video you want
- The camera has loads of different functions, so easy to change resolution, go to Underwater Mode, take burst shots, loop your video and take time-lapse (see example video)
- It comes with a large range of including mounting options and accessories. I've easily attached it to my motorbike, securely, without having to purchase anything additional
- It comes with two batteries and a charger that charges both batteries at the same time
I honestly can't believe how good value this is, highly recommended,
