This craft was a big hit with my 5/6 year old son. We made them on a long road trip. He's not super crafty, so it was a Together project. I handed him the sticky pieces and he put them on the strips by himself. And then I assembled the ornament. He was SO proud of his ornament, he hung it in his room instead of on the Christmas tree. When I put the Christmas stuff away, he wanted to know why I put his ornament away too, lol. I highly recommend this kit - great fun - and it takes some time if done correctly, so it's a good value for your entertainment dollar. It makes a lot of ornaments, so we have some left to make next year.

I bought this for my kids' and their friends as one of the crafts for our annual Kids' Christmas. The kids loved designing their own ornament. The materials are well made and they are easy enough for the younger ones (6) to do them on their own as well. If you want to save it for future years, I suggest getting a box to hold it in, otherwise, the ribbons will smash and it is a little hard to make it look like its original design.

She enjoyed the activity and proudly hung the ornaments on the tree. One 7 year old become frustrated (lacked the dexterity) and was too impatient. The 7 1/2 year old, who is very patient, was able to complete the task on her own, and enjoyed the activity.

The directions are clear and the design makes it easy to make them as pictured, which is good. They look good when they are done though they're a little flimsy weight wise. Good solid craft.
