Als sonstige Zugabe gibt es noch:
· Einen kleinen Karabinerhaken, den man unten (oder seitlich) an der Basisplatte montieren kann um z.B. Gewichte zur zusätzlichen Stabilisierung anzubringen.
· Neben der 1/4 Zoll Befestigungsschraube liegt noch eine 3/8 Zoll Schraube bei, somit kann man neben Fotokameras auch Videokameras, Beleuchtungsmittel etc. befestigen.
· Die Gummistopfen der Füße lassen sich abdrehen und gegen beiliegende Metallspikes tauschen um auf losem Untergrund einen besseren Stand zu erreichen.
· Zwei kleine Anleitungen in Englisch/Chinesisch für Grundstativ sowie Videokopf
Das komplette Stativset (Grundstativ und Kopf) kommt auf ca. 1540gr, das ist Dank der Carbon-Beine recht leicht für ein solches Stativ. Komplett eingeklappt und eingefahren kommt man auf eine Länge von ca. 54cm und einem Durchmesser an der dicksten Stelle von etwa 9cm. Das ist ebenfalls für ein so großes Stativ recht kompakt.
In der tiefsten Stellung mit Beinen in fast 90°-Stellung erreicht man eine "Höhe" von ca. 15cm, mit Beinen in ca. 45°-Stellung etwa 27,5cm und in "Normalstellung" (Beine etwa 25°) eine Minimalhöhe von ca. 50cm. Maximal ausgefahren ergibt sich eine Maximalhöhe von ca. 127cm. Alle Angaben sind natürlich mit Videokopf gerechnet!
Die Beine lassen sich über eine Release/Lock Drehung in drei Segmenten stufenlos ausfahren, somit sind alle Höhen-Zwischenstufen problemlos einstellbar. Die Feststellung der Beine funktioniert einwanfrei, die Beine sind auch bei höher Belastung fest und rutschen nicht durch.
Eine ausziehbare Mittelsäule hat das Stativ nicht, was den Nachteil hat, das man die Höhe nur über die Beine einstellen kann, allerdings den Vorteil, das man das Stativ dadurch mit ca. 15cm fast auf Bodenniveau bringen kann.
Wer jetzt denkt, das ein so leichtes Stativ fragil, wackelig und nicht belastbar ist, irrt. Ich habe es mit Maximalbelastung getestet. Ein Vollmetall-Supertele und eine DSLR mit Batteriegriff, die es zusammen auf etwas über 4kg bringen ließen sich problemlos, ruhig und stabil befestigen. Der Videokopf ließ sich problemlos bewegen, kein Ruckeln oder Zeichen der Überlastung. Natürlich muß so ein System dann ausgeglichen an der Objektivschelle montiert werden, nicht am Gehäuseboden der Kamera!
Der VA-5-EU Fluid-Videokopf ist gut für DSLRs und Videokameras geeignet. Die Bewegungen sind leicht und fließend, kein Ruckeln etc. Für Macroaufnahmen läst sich die Wechselplatte problemlos ca. 2cm nach vorne und ca. 2,5 cm nach hinten schieben, ohne das komplette Stativ versetzen zu müssen. Eine grobe Skala (5mm Schritte) bietet hierbei etwas Unterstützung. Ein Sicherheitssystem verhindert hierbei das versehentliche Herausrutschen der Platte aus dem Videokopf. Erst durch einen Druck auf den roten Knopf (siehe Bilder) lässt sich die Wechselplatte komplett (und leicht) entfernen. Die Wechselplatte ist laut Herstellerangaben Arca-Swiss-kompatibel.
Neben der Feststellschraube sowie auf der Basis des Videokopfs sind jeweils runde Nivellierlibellen angebracht, der Schwenkarm ist gummiarmiert. Der komplette Videokopf lässt sich um 360° für Panoramaaufnahmen drehen. Die Bedienung des Videokopfes ist kinderleicht und auch ohne Anleitung recht intuitiv zu bedienen. Der Videokopf ist nur für horizontale Montage der Kamera ausgelegt, für Hochformat lässt sich der Kopf leider nicht wegklappen, hier muß mit einer L-Schiene gearbeitet werden.
Überhaupt gibt es für die Sirui Stative Zubehör en masse. Neben zusätzlichen Mittelsäulen sind auch Flexiarme, andere Köpfe, Wechselplatten etc. erhältlich.
Fazit:
Das Stativset gehört wirklich in die Semi-professionelle Liga, was sich dann natürlich auch im Preis niederschlägt. Für die z.Zt. verlangten knapp 300,--€ erhält man dafür aber auch ein leichtes Carbonstativ in sehr guter Verarbeitung, hoher Stabilität, sehr guter Belastbarkeit und umfangreichen Erweiterungsmöglichkeiten. Dafür kauft man aber nur einmal und hat lange daran Spaß, die 6 Jahre Garantie des Herstellers unterstreichen dies. Hier gibts nichts zu meckern und die vollen 5 Sterne!
