Product Description

A countertop oven with 300° maximum temperature for baking polymer clays and other craft products. This handy countertop oven is perfect for warming/baking polymer clays or any craft product requiring heat up to 300°F (149°C). It includes a 30-minute timer to prevent over-baking and instruction book. The Polymer Clay & Craft Oven is a much more efficient way to bake polymer clay than the energy used by a home oven! Photo shows oven with Professional Bead Baking Rack and Beads. These items are not included. Internal dimensions are 11" W x 5" H x 7.5" D. with a capacity is 540 cu. in. Operates on standard household current. IMPORTANT: DO NOT put craft items in a cold oven. Always preheat oven. Polymer clay as well as other craft products that require heat, cure best when baked in a properly preheated oven. To preheat, place an oven thermometer inside oven, turn the temperature dial to 265 degrees and the timer dial to 20 MINUTES. When the bell rings the oven should have reached 265 degrees. Check the oven thermometer to verify that the oven is at the correct temperature. When the correct temperature is reached, place your craft project in the oven for baking.

Great product but should include a tray for the price. The clay cant be baked on the wire shelf and needs a flat surface. This has specific sizing and not easy to find pan or surface sizes to bake on. Love thats its small and easy for older kids to use.

I mentioned that she would need to get some background info on the business and the necessary tools to get started and that Amazon.Com would be one of the first places to begin for books and tools like the AMACO Polymer Clay&Craft Oven! As a token of my friendship and to support my friend in her new business I purchased the above craft oven. She LOVED it;couldn't stop talking about it, how convenient it was ,easy to use,and didn't take up much space! I marveled at how cheap the price was and how quickly Amazon.Com was able to ship this item to her! I can't talk to the over all quality of this item and how effective it does its job as a craft oven because it was a GIFT and I didn't personally use the item and my friend didn't address those particular aspects of the oven,but I have heard NO complaints!! Item is nice size, but kinda pricey. Has gaps in the back where the metal should fix together so some of the heat escapes, and the glass door keeps coming I attached. It’s fine for me to use but had to buy something better quality for gifting which turned out to be cheaper and contained heat better.

I've used this oven a half dozen times and so far it has worked very well. I keep an oven thermometer in it so I can get the temp where I want it and it maintains an even temperature throughout the baking process. I've baked things for two hours and the temp was consistent the whole time, the only thing that is a little inconvenient is that the timer only goes up to 30 minutes but as long as you reset it as soon as it dings the temp doesn't dip. Considering that you shouldn't leave an item like this unattended, that's really not a big deal. I'm glad I bought it!

I have used this item only once but it seems to be working well. Prior to baking polymer clay the oven needs to be pre heated for 20 minutes. You also need a Teflon sheet to place your clay items on and then the sheet is out on the oven rack. The oven is small so you can bake several small items or a few large items at the same time. Although you can bake polymer clay in the oven you use for food items, I wanted to use the clay separate from my big oven. The timer is convenient, entire oven is very light wright. Instructions are provided with the unit. I would recommend this item to other crafters.

It works well! It fits the small pyrex dish I use to do my clay making in. I feel much safer with something with a timer than I do turning on the stove and worrying I'll forget to turn it off. It requires a warm up time but it's pretty small so it warms up fast.

So far everything has baked perfectly and temperature controls are on point. Timing feature is so handy. We reuse disposable baking trays with great results.
