I have an 18th century style chest of drawers with pulls. The bottom pulls have been damaged embarrassingly because my cat sprayed them and they corroded. Only two pulls are damaged. I didn't want to replace all of them so I ordered the rub and buff in the closest color match. It was a bit bright so I rubbed a lot of it off and a small amount of the corrosion still shows through but only if you inspect it at close range like the photos show. Just walking up it's an amazing match to my other drawer pulls. I saved $$$ and time when I didn't have to replace all of them. I'm so glad that I found this product. I know there are other uses in my house!

I'm not into DIY as a rule but ever since I bought these elephant units years ago I wanted to do something to show up the elephants better. With this paste you simply rub it on with a finger which you wash off with soap and water and maybe a little scrubber then you rub it with a cloth to take off the excess paste and to shine. People who reviewed this product as 'not antique gold' or 'more green' are not being fair. If you put it on dark wood as I did the gold looks dark until the sun shines on it then it looks lighter as in my photos. I put it on a lighter wood as on the frame and it looks exactly the same as the elephants. Love it. Want to do more. The tube is very small so don't be surprised but I have used next to no paste for this project. I can easily pass it on to several members of my family. Well worth the family.
