Also, for those who may be curious;it came packaged just fine. No dents, no nicks, no scratches etc. Everything is (or was on arrival) just fine.
I highly recommend this PC for mid-class *MID BUDGET* video rendering and enthusiast *BUDGET* class gaming.
I have a microatx case with 5 case fans wired to the PSU, so full power all the time (This thing sits under my desk, is not very loud to me anyway, and the barely audible fan noise is relaxing in my opinion). Cinebench is the only time I have ever seen the CPU actually run at full load. Even then temps were only registering in the high 50s per HWmonitor and Ryzen Master.
Currently I have it overclocked to 3.6ghz on the stock voltages through the UEFI on my MB. Idle temps are ~33c and high 50's again during Cinebench runs. Ryzen master is a cool utility, and is useful for finding your processors sweet spot for OC. I could definitely push this thing further and have, but I literally do not load it anywhere near 100% ever. Even 60% for that matter. Mainly I play Cities:Skylines, CS:Source, Civ, various RTS games and do a lot of batch photo editing and video processing in Aftershot Pro and Vegas respectively. This thing doesn't break a sweat.
I don't understand the need to have the "fastest" processor out there, even those trying to get this thing over 4.0ghz. Seriously, this thing is fast enough and powerful enough for whatever gaming and other programs you want to run. Definitely future proof for the next 5 years at least. Just buy it, and try to torture it. It will just laugh at you.
essentially if you have any graphics card under a gtx 1070 or vega 56 this processor will give comparable performance to even the best gaming cpu's
considering there is very few games that currently max all of the r5 1600's threads technology will eventually catch up and starts utilizing more threads in more games so this processor will only become better with time.
not to mention that it has a great upgrade path laid out for it currently (zen+ probably wont be super amazing but zen 2 looks mighty promising)
I was able to overclock to 3.7gh extremely easily literally only had to go into the bios and change the frequency from 3.2 to 3.7. no voltage changes or anything and it runs like a dream not to mention the included cooler is quiet and does it's job very well and it even has the thermal paste spread on it so there is no need for a 212 evo/artic fox paste or anything like that
if you are an average user and want a processor that can handle anything you throw at it then get this processor! (if you are streaming/doing heavy workloads the i7 8700 or r7 1700 would be better choices however the r5 still can competently do even that)
in a nut shell the last big advancement for cpus that blew everyone away was intels i5 2500k (i believe) back in 2010 the r5 1600 is the next big advancement that people are going to be talking about for the next few years

It is fully compatible with pretty much all A320/B350/X370 boards straight out of the box without needing any BIOS updates, as it was one of the original Ryzen 5 chips, unlike the newer APUs (namely 2200G and 2400G) which may need a BIOS update first. Installation is fairly straightforward, just release the latch on the motherboard, carefully place the CPU into the socket, and line it up with the golden triangle so you get it in the correct way around. As it relies on the pins at the bottom, be careful when handling it so as to not damage any pins - hold it around the sides if possible.
Once installed, it comes with the superb "Wraith Spire" cooler (included in the price), which does a good job of keeping the CPU at cool temperatures without the need for a third-party solution, and the thermal paste comes pre-applied. This is a little trickier to install depending on the motherboard, but it is 4 screws and if you cross (do one corner then the opposite) which ones you tighten, it is easier and prevents damage from putting too much pressure on one area. Once installed and plugged into the CPU fan header, it idles at around 33 degrees celcius on my machine (which is a good temperature for a stock cooler), however your own results may vary slightly. Even with lots of programs, including a game and a virtual machine running, it only reached 55 degrees celcius, so there will be some room for a mild overclock using this cooler, provided you are using a B350 or X370 chipset. It also runs quietly, you can barely hear the fans even when they are spinning fully.
The performance of the processor itself is great, it'll match or beat most Intel i5 offerings (and even some i7 chips), which is excellent considering the noticeable price difference and the better stock cooler that AMD provides. For multi-core workloads (such as video editing) it works perfectly, and while the single-core performance isn't quite as good (this isn't really too much of an issue), once software can fully optimise all of the cores, it'll perform drastically better. It also handles gaming well, paired with even a 750Ti it can handle games such as Rocket League on High/Ultra settings at 70-100FPS, so paired with a better GPU will yield great results in even modern triple-A titles.
Be sure to download the Ryzen Master software from AMD, where you can monitor the temperature accurately and adjust CPU settings, as well as the AMD Ryzen Chipset Drivers, which include a Windows power plan which is optimised for use with Ryzen CPUs.
In conclusion, I couldn't be happier with this Ryzen 5 1600. Smashes competition in terms of price to performance, includes a great cooler and runs pretty much anything you can throw at it with ease. I would highly reccommend this processor.
Dopo qualche giorno sono subito passando all'OC. Ottenendo risultati a parer mio eccellenti:
1) Frequenza CPU 3,9GHz@1.248V
4) Risultati in benchmark osservabili negli screenshot.

Ob Video Bearbeitung, Musik produzieren, Spiele... Alles.
You will find various motherboards of AM4 sockets starting from 3800 Rs.
Note- this cpu dont have integrated graphics so it needs a graphics card.
For those interested in Linux, you may have read of problems with Ryzens. I received a CPU manufactured in week 33 and use an MSI motherboard. I have had no issues using Linux Mint 18.2. Worked perfectly first time with no obvious problems.
