To me, the whole point of a small slim Bezel monitor is for the purpose of having multiple setup together for work or Game use, the choice to make the monitor thin by putting some of the monitor internals built into the stand is crazy talk. It was a poor choice AOC, simply put. I am currently deciding if I should return both of them or try and make this work.
I didn't want to write the review because I absolutely love the product when it works, the second monitor has been going strong now since I purchased it and I still love it, but only having one functioning monitor when I bought two is a deal breaker for me. I doubt I'll purchase another AOC product after this experience.

I contacted amazon customer support to just see if maybe they just sent me 2 wrong ones? Maybe there were two different styles? Sadly, no. But, it wasn't a big enough deal to replace them, so I ended up keeping them. (I'm impatient lol)
As for the display, it took awhile to get everything set up. The initial plug and play settings are just...awful.
It's like you have constant night-mode on, when you don't. Everything is very yellow tinted. Took awhile in the monitor settings just to get it to look halfway decent. (Make sure before you mess with the monitor settings, to put it into 75hz first, it makes a big difference) It's a little pixelated in placed (mainly the corners), but you really have to be looking for it to notice its there.
And, if you're like me and your graphics card only have 1 HDMI port, and 3 DisplayPorts, then you'll need to purchase a DisplayPort (DP) to HDMI Cable. The monitor /only/ comes with HDMI cables (short ones by the way, same with the power cable) So, just keep that in mind if purchasing.
Like I said, overall decent monitor. 3 stars!
Excellent - bought 3 for triple monitor setup. Running flawlessly in surround / single pane mode at 75hz with an nvidia 1660. No Vesa mount but they fit on a 55" desk. They look sharp but you'll have to come up with your own cable management technique to really clean things up. Works great for work, school, and gaming.

UPDATE: Shortly after posting my review above, my Partner's Monitor developed a glitch! In the picture you can see a shaded rectangle that appeared on the screen as soon as the OS was initialized, and was visible on any window that I opened (e.g. Web Browser, Program, Application) in full screen. Being an IT Tech, I have many Computers, Graphics Cards, Monitors and Software (OS) available to "swap out" components when something goes wrong. This condition only existed with this Monitor, regardless of which Computer or Graphics Card or OS I used. I was in the process of placing a Warranty Claim with AOC when I took one more stab at trying to determine what the flaw was with this Monitor. I went through all the settings for the Monitor until I stumbled upon the one that FIXED THE PROBLEM. The Monitor has a setting for DCR (Dynamic Contrast Ratio) that I had set to "disable". When I switched this to "enable" the shaded rectangle disappeared. When I switched back to "disable" the shaded rectangle was no longer visible. This is likely caused by bad coding as all my computers are on "clean power" and are not abused. Perhaps AOC will provide a Firmware Update, but if they do not, try my FIX. It might work for you too.

This monitor doesn't have a lot of things I can complain about. Except i wish you could adjust the height on this.
But that aside, great picture, bunch of features like blue light filter etc and almost no bezel on 3 sides. If you're running something with black background it's easy to not realize where screen ends.
Oh and it looks really pretty. Even when turned off. And of top of it, this is one of the cheapest 27 incher out there!!

Thank you for contacting AOC support. It goes up to 75Hz only on VGA but you will get a lower resolution, on HDMI you only get the 60Hz but you get the full resolution.
Best regards,
Richard G

I otherwise have no issues with these monitors.
