With Quad HD, you get four times the resolution of 720p HD; essentially you can fit four 720p HD videos on the screen at the same time. A Quad HD on a 27-inch widescreen allows you to view greater detail with more spacing, in crisp and vivid visuals. Whether editing photos, videos, or watching movies, AG271QG gives you clarity with quality on a widescreen.
165Hz Refresh Rate for Ultra Smooth Graphics
Competitive and intense gaming demands the best gaming gear to ensure lag-free, smooth gaming. This AOC display features 165Hz refresh rate, effectively faster than a standard display. A lower frame rate can make enemies appear to jump from spot to spot on the screen, making them difficult targets to hit. With 165Hz frame rate, you get those critical missing images on the screen which shows enemy movement in ultra smooth motion so you can easily target them. You won't have to put up with input lag and screen tearing with this AOC gaming display.
NVIDIA G-SYNC Technology
A NVIDIA G-SYNC is the revolutionary solution that synchronizes the display’s refresh rates to the GPU in your GeForce GTX-powered PC to eliminate screen tearing and minimizes display stutter and input lag, in order to provide the smoothest, fastest, and visually stunning gaming experience to date. What you get is fluid and responsive gameplay, with objects looking sharper, scenes appearing instantly and more vibrant in visual quality than on any other monitors, so you can enjoy the latest games to the fullest. NVIDIA G-SYNC delivers the smoothest and fastest gaming experience.
Multimedia Connections and Features
AG271QG features Display Port 1.2 and HDMI 1.4 connections, with additional 4 USB 3.0 (1 x fast-charging port). For your audio needs, this monitor comes with two 2-watt speakers and an audio line-in/headphone out. Maximize your experience with 144Hz refresh rate via Display Port cable. Enjoy fast-moving action and dramatic transitions without the annoying effects of ghosting, thanks to the smooth rendering. For gamers, it is important to have the best visibility especially for the dark areas on screen. With AOC’s Shadow Control, gamers can dial-in shadow levels in the On-Screen Display menu to increase contrast for better dark areas without affecting the rest of the screen. AG271QG offers 3 levels to adjust the dark portions.

Top customer reviews
I purchased this monitor on May 11, 2017. (05 / 11 / 2017). Since then (less than 2 months), I have 3 dead pixels.
I understand manufacturing processes aren't perfect, but AOC (whom I have used in my office on many occasions) was entering the premium space. I thought I'd give them a shot, it was a good price. The looks and performance have been exemplary until these pixels, but that is not the worst part.
Since I contacted them late last week, I have received 3 emails.
1. First email consisted of an automated response which is normal.
2. I then spoke with Romeo at Envision Peripherals, which I assume handles AOC's warranty and RMA procedures here in the U.S.
3. Lastly, I received an email from their 'engineering' team which says they will not honor the warranty on this product....
*Because their panel coverage is only for one year.*
Here is the email from a 'Service MANAGER' in engineering.
The ACO panel warranty is 1 year from the purchase date. Per your invoice, this panel is out of 1 year warranty.

Suffice it to say, it may be best that I take it up with Amazon customer service, whom I am hopeful after 14 years of business with me, has the ability to calculate timespans from May 2017 until July 2017.
I am amenable to updating this review should AOC actually provides appropriate support for my issue.
Free of dead pixels and most defects outside of a strong glow in the bottom right of the panel. The glow was pronounced enough to cause distortion in even regular lighting, a colorful game with my overhead bulbs turned on. I did really like the panel although its colors weren't quite as able to reach the same exact color quality as the viewsonic XG2703-GS that i've switched too (with its own issues i'm doing a replacement for.) The panel would be a 5 star product no doubt if you received it defect free.
-Comes with HDMI and a Display Port, with a long enough cable
-One of the better menu controls for the monitor, Still iffy though
-Moves up and down, with tilt to get it to a good position
-No problems with 1440p and 144hz.
-Packaging was amazing
-Very little backlight bleed. Only noticeable if you look for it.
-Color needs to be recalibrated out of the box. Looks bad until changing it
-Shipping took three days. It stayed on "Shipping today" for 48 hours. Made no sense.
Overall, its a great price for it's cons. I heard backlight bleed can be a lot worse. Got to get lucky on the monitor you get.
This is not a criticism, but I would go for the 27" if I were to buy this again. I got the 24" because I was afraid the 27" would be too large on my desk, but now I find it a bit small (I only use one screen) and I think bigger is just better.
