AOC Gaming Monitor - AGON AG352UCG
Immersion to the max: With its extra-small curvature radius of 1800R, the AOC AGON AG352UCG puts gamers right into the center of the action. A 100Hz refresh rate and NVIDIA G-SYNC technology guarantee super-smooth and responsive gameplay and graphics by minimizing screen tearing, display stuttering and input lag. The monitor’s UltraWide QHD resolution of 3440 x 1440 pixels brings game worlds to life with sharp and detailed images on the large 35″ screen. Clever display settings give players additional advantages, including AOC Shadow Control, which lightens overly dark areas of the image and darkens bright parts without affecting the rest of the screen.
Moreover, convenient features such as a retractable headset holder and a handle make the AG352UCG a perfect choice for esports enthusiasts, who can even customize the monitor’s look thanks to adjustable colored LED lights (red, green, blue) on the AG352UCG’s back and lower bezel. The display’s ergonomic stand called AOC Ergo Base offers height, tilt and swivel adjustment options, which empower gamers to find a comfortable posture and prevent back pain. In order to also protect players’ eyes and prevent eyestrain, the AOC Flicker-Free technology regulates the monitor’s brightness with a direct current (DC) backlight system, which reduces flicker. In addition, the optional AOC Low Blue Light mode reduces potentially harmful short wavelength blue light.

G-SYNC by NVIDIA and 100Hz Refresh Rate
100Hz brings unprecedented fluidity to the rapid movements on your screen. Watch the most frenetic action unfold and flow across the display, feel your reactions blend seamlessly into in-game action, and just forget about motion blur and screen tearing – they’re history now. Paired with NVIDIA G-SYNC that synchronizes the display’s refresh rates to the GPU in your GeForce GTX-powered PC, AG352UCG eliminates screen tearing and minimizes display stutter and input lag. What you get is fluid and responsive gameplay, with objects looking sharper, scenes appearing instantly and more vibrant in visual quality than on any other monitors, so you can enjoy the latest games to the fullest. AGON with NVIDIA G-SYNC delivers the smoothest and fastest gaming experience with a serious competitive edge.
4ms GTG Response Time
A response time of 4ms Grey-to-Grey (GTG) means pixels respond with speed without the smear for an enhanced gaming experience. Fast-moving action and dramatic transitions will be rendered smoothly without the annoying effects of ghosting, a must have for serious first person shooter games. Choose the right path to success; do not let a slow display stop you.
Fully Adjustable Stand
The AG352UCG’s fully adjustable stand allows convenient adjustment of the screen’s height and angle. Match the screen’s position to your chair position, height, and line of sight for a comfortable playing experience. The stand also comes with a handle built-in, ready to be taken to any battleground of your choosing.
AOC Shadow Control
It is important to have the best visibility especially for the dark areas on screen when gaming. With AOC’s Shadow Control, gamers can dial-in shadow levels in the On-Screen Display menu to increase contrast for better dark areas without affecting the rest of the screen or the response time. AG352UCG offers three levels to adjust the dark portions. Bring the battle out of the shadows with AOC Shadow Control!
Scene Light, Retractable Headset Holder
Ready to wow the onlooker, the adjustable lighting effects on the back panel can be changed to red, green, or blue, to suit the mood of play, or match team colors at gaming events. I purchased this monitor on May 11, 2017. (05 / 11 / 2017). Since then (less than 2 months), I have 3 dead pixels.
I understand manufacturing processes aren't perfect, but AOC (whom I have used in my office on many occasions) was entering the premium space. I thought I'd give them a shot, it was a good price. The looks and performance have been exemplary until these pixels, but that is not the worst part.
Since I contacted them late last week, I have received 3 emails.
1. First email consisted of an automated response which is normal.
2. I then spoke with Romeo at Envision Peripherals, which I assume handles AOC's warranty and RMA procedures here in the U.S.
3. Lastly, I received an email from their 'engineering' team which says they will not honor the warranty on this product....
*Because their panel coverage is only for one year.*
Here is the email from a 'Service MANAGER' in engineering.
The ACO panel warranty is 1 year from the purchase date. Per your invoice, this panel is out of 1 year warranty.

Suffice it to say, it may be best that I take it up with Amazon customer service, whom I am hopeful after 14 years of business with me, has the ability to calculate timespans from May 2017 until July 2017.
I am amenable to updating this review should AOC actually provides appropriate support for my issue.
Overall, it was a very shabby way to run customer care, especially warranty claims. I complained to Amazon and they accepted a return for that monitor. I doubt others would be so lucky, so I'd steer clear of this manufacturer from now on.
Such an expensive monitor fully deserves full warranty support, and AOC's cheap antics just turned me off their products.
Update: After dropping the ball massively on Warranty support, and after Amazon accepted the return for them, AOC actually had the gall to charge me a restocking fee of $219.80. I spoke to Amazon and they immediately refunded that amount. All I can say is, avoid these people like the plague. Neither they, nor their monitor is worth it. Spend the extra $200 on someone else, who'll actually turn to you when you call after taking your money.
