AOC Gaming Monitor - AGON AG352UCG
Immersion to the max: With its extra-small curvature radius of 1800R, the AOC AGON AG352UCG puts gamers right into the center of the action. A 100Hz refresh rate and NVIDIA G-SYNC technology guarantee super-smooth and responsive gameplay and graphics by minimizing screen tearing, display stuttering and input lag. The monitor’s UltraWide QHD resolution of 3440 x 1440 pixels brings game worlds to life with sharp and detailed images on the large 35″ screen. Clever display settings give players additional advantages, including AOC Shadow Control, which lightens overly dark areas of the image and darkens bright parts without affecting the rest of the screen.
Moreover, convenient features such as a retractable headset holder and a handle make the AG352UCG a perfect choice for esports enthusiasts, who can even customize the monitor’s look thanks to adjustable colored LED lights (red, green, blue) on the AG352UCG’s back and lower bezel. The display’s ergonomic stand called AOC Ergo Base offers height, tilt and swivel adjustment options, which empower gamers to find a comfortable posture and prevent back pain. In order to also protect players’ eyes and prevent eyestrain, the AOC Flicker-Free technology regulates the monitor’s brightness with a direct current (DC) backlight system, which reduces flicker. In addition, the optional AOC Low Blue Light mode reduces potentially harmful short wavelength blue light.

AGON with NVIDIA G-SYNC delivers the smoothest and fastest gaming experience with a serious competitive edge.
4ms GTG Response Time
A response time of 4ms Grey-to-Grey (GTG) means pixels respond with speed without the smear for an enhanced gaming experience. Fast-moving action and dramatic transitions will be rendered smoothly without the annoying effects of ghosting, a must have for serious first person shooter games. Choose the right path to success; do not let a slow display stop you.

Overall, it was a very shabby way to run customer care, especially warranty claims. I complained to Amazon and they accepted a return for that monitor. I doubt others would be so lucky, so I'd steer clear of this manufacturer from now on.
Such an expensive monitor fully deserves full warranty support, and AOC's cheap antics just turned me off their products.
Update: After dropping the ball massively on Warranty support, and after Amazon accepted the return for them, AOC actually had the gall to charge me a restocking fee of $219.80. I spoke to Amazon and they immediately refunded that amount. All I can say is, avoid these people like the plague. Neither they, nor their monitor is worth it. Spend the extra $200 on someone else, who'll actually turn to you when you call after taking your money.
I had a panel with about 3 groups of dead pixels. I returned it with no issue.
The third monitor had the same issue. Dead pixels.
I don't know if I am being pedantic, but I believe there should be no dead pixels.
Support even said that their panel warranty covered the issue, but they would not send me a fourth monitor.
If you value your time, want all your pixels and a functional monitor, look for a company that has your back and wants you to be satisfied.
If you have time to play the panel lottery, this one's for you. Apparently you only get three tries.
Even coming from 4k, I was always a bit envious of the ultra-wide monitors. I looked at the Predator and ROG versions of these but they just seemed way too expensive. I was also looking at the LG and Dell offerings but nothing seemed to hit the sweet spot of higher than 60hz refresh, 1440p, and G-Sync (I'm currently running SLI 980TI's). I came across the Agon, read a few reviews, and pulled the trigger. Glad I did.
It takes a bit of calibration to make it look pleasing, at least to me. I turned down the brightness quite a bit. I noticed a bit of back light bleed on startup but once you're on the desktop or playing games it's a non-issue. Make sure you switch to 100hz in your display adapter properties since it's not in the menus on the monitor.
I use my computer primarily for music production and gaming. For music production, the extra width comes in handy when editing song tracks and viewing your project. In gaming, it's just so cool to have the extra space around the peripherals (not to mention the curve), as well as G-Sync. I've never experienced iG-Sync before but it just makes games so buttery smooth its a joy to play anything! I always thought V-Sync was just fine but this new technology is leaps and bounds ahead.
I hate to say it but I've only tested out one game so far, Far Cry Primal. It's averaging about 90fps with everything on Ultra+. It was averaging around 60-65 at 4k so it's a nice leap in FPS while also allowing me to wait on that next graphics card purchase. Cant' wait to play some more games on this soon.
Lastly, three other things I'll mention. The stand looks like it belongs in Star Trek TNG. It's really freaking cool looking and does the job well. It raises, lowers and swivels nicely. The LED's on the underside and back are fun, but IMO not necessary. I keep them on blue and match them with my keyboard. The headphone stand is awesome. I use it all the time.
If you're in the market for an ultra-wide 34-35 inch G-Sync monitor, definitely put the Agon on your short list.

The VA panel had terrible trailing that made any movement on the screen have a shadow following it.
At first I thought it was just in games and had something to do with my settings, but then I noticed that even
moving my mouse cursor over a browser window, had a trail following it... it was unusable.
Amazon was great,II got the monitor very quickly and once I realized the issue and asked to return it,
it was a simple process and I got a full refund.
