144Hz Refresh Rate
Game with the fastest frame rate possible and ensure lag-free, smooth gaming, 144Hz refresh rate, effectively 2.4x faster than a standard display. A lower frame rate can make enemies appear to jump from spot to spot on the screen, making them difficult targets to hit. With 144Hz frame rate, you get those critical missing images on the screen that shows enemy movement in ultra smooth motion so you can easily target them. You won't have to put up with input lag and screen tearing with this AOC gaming display.
AMD FreeSync Technology
AMD FreeSync Technology provides the perfect high performance solution for gamers looking for the best gaming experience. FreeSync eliminates any tearing or stuttering by synchronizing the GPU and the monitor so frames are displayed when ready. This also ensures the fastest possible frame rates and prevents any laggy and stuttering input from the gaming mouse. Gamers can enjoy the smoothest gameplay that gives them the desired competitive edge.
Connectivity and Features You Need in a Monitor
G2460PF features VGA, Dual Link DVI, HDMI-MHL, Display Port, 4 x USB 2.0 (1 x fast-charging port), and 1 x upstream USB port (USB HUB) connections. One of the USB ports on the side is also a fast-charging port. For your audio needs, this monitor comes with two 2-watt speakers and a headphone jack. With MHL-enabled HDMI connection, you can connect your smart device to your monitor to simultaneously charge and stream your mobile multimedia to the screen. Enjoy fast-moving action and dramatic transitions without the annoying effects of ghosting, thanks to the smooth rendering.

Before color and contrast corrections, my monitor color replication was off enough to be noticeable and distracting even while gaming. After color and contrast corrections (2 hours of effort), this monitor can be described as having between okay and decent color reproduction. This is one of the trade-offs for the price. If you are interested I set the following first before doing further corrections in Windows software: Contrast: 35, Brightness: 10, Gamma: Gamma3, Overdrive: Medium, Red: 48, Green: 50, Blue: 38. YMMV as every device is slightly different, but hopefully this is a good baseline.
The screen has no stuck pixels after a year. Max brightness can be extreme for this monitor (hence why I've set a brightness value of 10 above). Min brightness is significant if in a dark room, but I have managed to offset this by using f.lux's brightness change function (alt+page down, this is a monitor color and brightness software). Finally, there is a visible change in white saturation when going from this monitor's 60 Hz setting to 144 Hz. For more beauty oriented games (i.e. Skyrim) I recommend swapping to the 60 Hz mode, as low input lag is not really necessary for that game and the color enhancement is significant.
The 144 Hz aspect is obviously working and working well. Doing the UFO test yielded significantly stable frame rate with low to no jitter. Another obvious test, especially if you have a second monitor that is 60 Hz, is viewing the tail of your mouse cursor when moving quickly. Leveraging this in game has, in my opinion, significantly improved the ease of aiming for hitscan weapons (flicks and tracking), but this is expected for all high frequency monitors.
Now the problems section. The software for this monitor is buggy, and there appear to be some charge build up problems sometimes. The software bug manifests as the monitor continually seeking for a signal instead of shutting down/ entering power saving mode when your computer is turned off. This manifests as long periods of displaying black followed by a few seconds of bright white light from the "No Signal" notice. Because of this, if your gaming setup is in the same room as where you sleep, you will need to flip the power switch off. The charge build up issue manifests as the allowed frequency that the monitor can be driven at. This issue appears after playing for large periods of time (4+ hours) at 144 Hz. After turning off your computer and turning it on again, without turning off the monitor, the monitor will not allow a 144 Hz display port signal ("No Signal" will be displayed), but will respond to a 60 Hz signal. The reason I believe this to be charge build up is that flipping the monitors power switch to off while still plugged in will resolve the issue within 30 minutes. However, flipping the switch and disconnecting the power cable will cause the issue to last far longer (greater than 4 hours), which points to the charge build up not having an easy way to dissipate due to no ground connection. It can be said that the fix for the software glitch also resolves the hardware problem.
Despite the above issues, I still believe this is a great entry level 144 Hz monitor given the price.
With 1 ms response time and 75 hz refresh rate using display port you really can't beat the price. When I've played video games (yes I can play video games with this graphics card) I noticed a huge difference in my fps stability and overall response time. I had no idea a simple monitor and new display cable could make such a big difference, really.
I've seen a lot of complaints about the washed out colors and brightness of screen and I can say I don't think that's the case for me (then again I'm not often in the market for monitors so you be the judge). I've seen even recommendations on the comments as to what to set your RGB percentages at to have a better image. So, the customization is there which I like and there's quite a few options in the menu to work with.
One place where I believe it falls short a tad bit is the overall quality of the material and the finish. For example, my older Samsung which is not a gaming monitor and has upwards of 7 ms response time has a nice slick finish and slides to the touch. Also, all the "buttons" are nice digital buttons you just slide over to make function, where as my AOC has some mechanical feeling buttons. Also, the AOC has a little bit of a bump behind where as my samsung is slick and thin behind. I can overlook all and this is why I still give it 5 star this because as is stated this is more of an affordable gaming monitor than it is just a normal flat screen. So I'm assuming you're exchanging some of that glamour with hardware (or hoping).
My biggest questions is: Will it pass the test of time? I've had my Samsung monitor for over 4 years with not a single thread or pixel broken AND I'VE MOVED THIS THING AROUND A LOT. Only have had the AOC monitor for 2 weeks now. I'll update this if anything changes.
Pros:
+Affordability
+Gaming
+Color/Brightness Customization
+1 ms respone time/ 75 hz refresh rate
Cons:
-Finished case
-Material
-Buttons
Unanswered Questions:
?Is it gilded or is gold? In other words will the glamour last? I hope not to have to replace this screen any time soon?
?If I have problems will $3 insurance at square trade even do anything?

(Right Monitor) The monitor is fine. It's actually great for the price too. Colours are vivid, the menu to change the brightness, contrast etc. is easy to navigate once you get used to it. You can completely modify the screen to make it look how you want it to look.
However... It's locked to 60fps and NOT 75fps. The way to do this is for Nvidia GPU's is to go into the Nvidia control panel and enter the "change resolution" option in the menu. From there, scroll down to PC, not FULL HD, and you can change from 60Hz to 75Hz. From there you can also go into the "Change desktop colour settings" and you can play around with the Brightness, contrast, etc. in a bit more depth and ease. Unfortunately, I don't know how to do these things with an AMD GPU.
Anyway, the screen is great ESPECIALLY for playing PS4, Xbox One or Switch games. (Note: The pictures taken aren't 100% accurate. They are slightly more whitewashed. It's A LOT more clear in person)

**Pros**
-Great price
-Simplistic yet sleek design
-Freesync
-2 built in USB slots on the side of the panel is a nice bonus
-144hz refresh rate is game changing
-Comes with cables included (Displayport, HDMI, VGA, Audio)
-Lots of viewing angles and easily height adjustable
**Cons**
-Pretty bleak colour: This is a TN panel so this is to be expected. Changing settings can help but overall color clarity is average
-Brightness settings are way too high, and it's hard to find a decent middle ground without sacrificing colour/clarity
-Doesn't come with DVI cable but instead comes with an outdated and next to useless VGA cable. Shipping a 1080p 144hz monitor with a vga cable seems next to pointless! The displayport cable included is capable of 144hz, however a dual link dvi d cable instead of a VGA would have been nice...
- I experienced very slight flickering at 144hz using the supplied Displayport cable. Not too noticable but still a hindrance. Either way, I made sure to buy a high quality displayport cable from Amazon with this order just in case this happened, and since changing out for the new cable, I've fixed the issue. Here is a link to the cable I bought
Cable Matters Gold Plated DisplayPort to DisplayPort Cable 2 Metres
-Built in speakers are extremely poor. I doubt anyone is buying this for the speakers, but still, awful speakers. Use external speakers
-The OSD/navigation menu can be quite cumbersome to use. It's not a massive deal, but you will be spending a lot of time in the menus and a nicer UI would have been nicer
**Conclusion**
Overall I am very happy with this monitor. If you are on the fence about 144hz, make the upgrade! I finally experienced it for the first time with this monitor and I am blown away with how crisp and smooth it is. If you have an AMD card capable of Freesync I doubly recommend this monitor, however, those with nvidia GPUs will still be able to use this monitor no problem, just wont be able to take advantage of freesync. You can't go wrong with the price here. As mentioned earlier, you may experience flickering at 144hz with the supplied displayport cable, so I recommend picking up a higher quality one. Otherwise I have nothing but good things to say about this monitor in terms of delivering what it sets out to do!

Edit: PLEASE READ THIS
Still 5 stars but I wish I knew it before!
If you want freesync to work over 60 fps (and have a vsync at 75hz) you have to install the beta driver of the screen (and start windows in test mod to allow unsigned drivers)!
While I cannot comment on the freesynch options of the monitor, as I do not own the right GPU for this, the monitor is a great companion for my gaming sprees allowing excellent manoeuvrability throughout.
Fixing the brightness is probably my biggest issue as I cannot darken the display enough only by using the hardware itself, so I advise downloading and using all accompanying drivers to manage the full spectre (if you're not too lazy).
The monitor came packed with a suitably long HDMI cable, sound and video cords, UK power plug and a software disc. I read that not all sellers provide all cables, so I was more than pleased when I found the whole assortment in the box.
Overall, this is a good LED monitor if you're looking for a budget addition to your everyday experiences, be it gaming or work-related.
I waited for this review to have some experience with the product; I'm still happy with my purchase even after the said period.
