Most UPS designs are optimized for larger loads, and waste a lot of power when tasked with keeping something like a cable modem or phone chager alive. With a 10 watt load (say, a router), this thing will go for FIVE HOURS (or maybe two or three if you have a power hungry modem -- runtime graph is attached). Crazy! For this type of usage, this will blow the doors off much more expensive units. Bought a second and a third to run my wife's fan and our electric horse fence. So cheap, so useful!
If you need maximum runtime, go with the BGE90m and plan on replacing the battery occasionally. If you need maximum battery lifespan, go with the BGE50ML -- its lithium ion battery will live a lot longer than the batteries in the other two units.

After contacting the Schneider support mentioned in their reply, they agreed with my judgement and sent me a replacement battery. The replacement battery they sent me is over 2.5 years old making it OLDER THAN THE ORIGINAL "new" battery I complained about in the first place(see photos). Sorry to say, my one star review is too high for this purchase.

NOT NEW battery when enclosed material show it was manufactured in 2014! Now almost 2.5 years later I received what no one would consider a new battery. Battery chemistry is such that even unused, even if they just sit they degrade over time, particularly larger batteries. I argue that a battery that is wisely used is better than one that just sits for over 2 years. I cannot recommend anyone purchase this product.By R. Rodriguez on March 28, 2017
