What happened? I thought that if I ordered this online, it would at least taste the same. Guessed wrong. It feels like they added tap water to this and it doesn't nearly taste the same as you would buy at GNC. Whenever I open the cap, it doesn’t make that click snappy noise. It seems like the opened it up. Very Very disappointed. Also got this tested at a pool store. Wasn't PH9+ It was PH6-7.

I have always enjoyed this product, the taste was great, my whole family enjoyed it but the last order that we received tastes terrible, the water has a salty taste and just to be sure it wasn't me I had multiple people try it. I don't know what happened but we canceled our subscription.

I have been drinking this water for YEARS & have cases delivered every month. It’s been a subscribe & save item of mine for many years. THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE 24 pk of 500mL (16 oz) bottles! It tastes AWFUL!! The only thing that I can think of is that it’s a temperature control issue/ it’s being stored somewhere in the Amazon distribution center where the temps are too hot or something??? SOMETHING has happened to it that’s making it change in taste. It’s disgusting.
**I also get cases of the 1 L bottles delivered every month. That size seems to be fine! It tastes completely normal.
I returned a case of the 500 mL and Amazon sent me another case in its place. However the replacement case is just as bad as the other one, if not worse! Something is going on at the Amazon distribution center! (I’m calling Aqua Hydrate directly tomorrow to let them know.)

Higher PH But Less Smooth Than Penta or Core

Not a bad choice for those who are looking for an electrolyte-enhanced water, since it is not terribly expensive. However, despite the splashy ads and celebrity endorsements, you really have to dig to get any substantial info on the company's filtering process (I admit to not making enough effort yet). I prefer a company like Penta which is more forthcoming about exactly what they filter out (e.g. lead, arsenic, mercury. chromium 6, etc.)

Also, this is not a smooth, cleaning tasting water like Penta or even Essentia. It has a slightly gritty, tap-watery taste. I suppose (hope?) that is due to the added mineral content, which is formulated by the Trace Minerals company. I tend to add this water to other beverages. while for straight-up drinking, I prefer Penta or Core since they are smoother. Penta and Core, however, have a lower PH than 9, so if the PH claims by AQUAhydrate PH are true, you might want to use this one if you want a higher PH water.

Absolutely recommend. Bought these because I had a stomach problem with high acidity and wanted to see if the alcaline water helped my pain and body become more alcaline. I don't know if it scientifically did, but I felt better in a couple days and never again had a flare-up. This water is good, tastes good and makes you want to drink water, unlike my tap water. Absolutely recommend this. The 1.5 L bottles are the best.

This water is amazing. I first found it when my poppy had cancer and kept getting dehydrated, he didn't like Gatorade or Powerade so we had to find an alternative to electrolytes. This water he drank everyday and it kept him out of going to the hospital after chemo for getting dehydrated. Now I drink it while I work. I work out in the sun all day and it keeps me hydrated as well. It tastes good and unlike gatorade and powerade with all the sugars is so much more healthy.
