Picked up this HDTV at the local BB yesterday. Great quality of the picture probably attributed to X-GEN LCD matrix (compare with the LC-60LE810UN for the higher quality panel)
Plenty of picture adjustments. Well worth a buck under thirteen hun +tx paid for it. Audio is a joke but with our Denon 7.1 receiver it was worth getting it.
Although there were no information on it from SharpUSA.com, but here's some of the similar details from the Sharp LC-60E88UN with an exception for the 240Hz vs 120Hz:
* 60" Class (60-1/32" Diagonal)
* X-Gen LCD Panel
* 120Hz Fine Motion Enhanced
* 4 HDMI® Inputs
* Full HD 1080p (1920 x 1080) Resolution
* AQUOS(tm)
* Optical Picture Control

PROS:
*Picture quality (turned out to be better than C630 LCD Samsung we had at the moment) with 1080p/1080i/720p
*Accurate colors
*Good viewing angle, colors are not as washed out as other leading LCD HDTVs;
*Granular level of adjustments (way more customizable than any comparable Samsungs), with 7 auto +1 user video modes its more than accommodating;
*The user video mode could be saved for each input, unheard of in its competitors and price category;
*Self adjusting to the environment lighting power saving mode, with ~130 Watt consumption (with OPC on);
*Matte finish of the screen (rare to get by these days) for less reflections;
*Yey, No INTERNET APPS!!! (existing HDTV PC with Win Media Server), so no need to overpay for expensive R&D;
*Comes on the stand pre-attached from the manufacturer, which makes the box pretty big;
*Actual screen size is: 60-1/32", not like undersized Samsungs 55" would actually be 54.

The picture quality and brightness are excellent. The picture screen has a defect near the bottom that looks as if the material of the screen is rippled. Two other features are annoying if you connect the TV to multiple devices such as BlueRay player and a cable box. Often the TV loses its signal and the screen goes blank as it you switch from one device to another. It only comes back after TV has been shut off by the power switch and then turned back on after about 10 seconds. I have found no solution to this problem. The second annoyance is that the TV's default setting shuts it off if a control is not changed for longer than 3 hours. This happens quite often if you control your input from other devices. This can be changed through the menu, but it took me a long time to figure out what was happening.
One final annoyance is that the TV comes with virtually no documentation such as a booklet describing its features.

I bought this LCD one week ago to replace a 3-years old 42" plasma as the main set of the house. I was always reluctant to get a LCD against a plasma because the colors and time response of the plasmas are generally better, and the LED market push is pretty high lately. So when i saw this set in rebate and with a 32" Sharp LCD free for the purchase i googled reviews about it and came to the conclusion that this set could fit in my budget and expectations, because i can't care less about 3D and SmarTV antics, just needed a good old fashioned screen with good colors, to get together with a PS3 and a Panasonic Soundbar, and the X-Gen panel along with all the configuration settings this TV allows sealed the deal. So far i'm very impressed with the picture quality, at least very superior to the AOC and Samsung sets my friends have.

Pros: excellent colors and picture quality, matte screen, game mode.

Observations: power comsumption high if OPC disabled (i have disabled it for PQ sake) but comparable to my 42" plasma, sound is pretty low (i use a soundbar instead and i guess everyone with a 60" incher should be using a home theater sound system of sort), the box is a beast.

I have owned this tv since the beginning of the year. Every time I watch anything from movies to games this is the first place I come to. We have five tv's in the house from led to plasma and we always end up here next to this tv. Clean and crisp with ps3, wii, blurays... you name it!!!
