- Make sure this fits by entering your model number.
- INNOVATIVE DESIGN ENABKES QUIET AND EFFICIENT VENTILATION: The innovative design of the fan blades improves the air flow and facilitates a highly efficient ventilation. The impeller was designed with a focus on minimzing the noise level yet delivering the desired airflow and pressure.
- PERFECT CASE FAN REGULATION WITH PWM: The PWM function allows the motherboard to run the fan precisely at its necessary speed. This guarantees the required cooling and minimizes the noise level.
- PATENTED PWM SHARING TECHNOLOGY (PST) LOWERS NOISE: If you want to improve the cooling efficiency of your computer you get several case fans working in parallel (since it takes 10 fans to double the noise level). But what does it help if they don't work together? The PST assures that all of your fans listen to one control signal. E.g. you share the CPU Cooler's PWM signal and assure that your case fans stand down at low load and spin up whenever necessary.
- TWO WAY INSTALLATION: Blow warm air out of the case. Draw cool air into your case.
- EXTENDED LIFE SPAN WITH JAPANESE DUAL BALL BEARING: The premium quality Japanese dual ball bearing allows continuous operation 24/7 without the slightest compromise in performance. Dust and high temperature are affecting this bearing a lot less than generic sleeve or one ball bearings and thus make it the perfect choice if reliability is key. The CO case fan's life span is up to 5 times longer compared to models using a generic bearing.

Innovative Design Enables Quiet and Efficient Ventilation
The innovative design of the fan blades improves the air flow and facilitates a highly efficient ventilation. The impeller was designed with a focus on minimzing the noise level yet delivering the desired airflow and pressure.
Ideal Temperature Control
The temperature sensor is on a 40 cm cable and can be placed in the warm areas of your computer. This assures temperatures no higher than 38 °C anywhere in the case and supports the cooling of your CPU or graphics card. On the other side this fan keeps the noise level absolutely minimal and only increases the speed if necessary.

FYI if your unfamiliar with PST it essentially allows you to hook up multiple fans to a single header because each fan has a small pig tail from the main connector to hook another fan into. You can hook up to 5 fans from a single header. This is very nice for motherboards that have too few fan headers. I ended up having 4 of these fans use the PST function so all front case fans were in sync - this is very nice. Cable length is generous and should be more than sufficient for a full ATX case. I would absolutely recommend these. I would defenetly, without a doubt buy them again.
Another question that was answered for myself after using these was the static air pressure. They blow very well and move a lot of air. I have two of these mounted on my radiator for a closed loop water cooler I use (Corsair H100i). They don't have quite the static pressure of the Corsair HS series fans, but the system is not over clocked and I max out around 48c on the CPU with the ARCTIC F12's still. The Corsair are loud - like stupid loud you can hear them from another room when they are at full speed. The F12's at full throttle are magnitudes quieter (albet less static pressure) but still more than sufficient. They look cool too! No stupid LED's no gimmicks. Plastic is the nice thick type, I've broken blades in the past from all my tinkering and accidental bumping. I think the added couple blades defently help with noise and air flow. These are PERFECT for the front of a computer case or rear exhaust 120mm case port. They are also dual bearing fans. Now sleeve bearings are generally quieter (they don't last as long), these bearing fans are on par with how quiet the sleeve bearings are.
Noticed a distinct wobble one day on my PC case and took a side off..sure enough it was one of the fans that had a blade snap off causing the wobble. Emailed Artic stated my issue attached my Amazon invoice and they sent a replacement ...no fuss.. no muss.
Excellent company and customer support.
The fan failure to me was just one of those things that happens with things from time to time in all walks of life no matter the product. Great customer service doesn't seem to happen as much...they stand behind their product.
A few caveats -
My Asus motherboard has an optimization mode setting that generates a fan curve. Unlike my other fans, this does not generate a good control curve. So, I simply put it on PWM control with a standard or quiet curve setting.
I almost returned it because the fan was too thick for my case screws. It is 27mm thick and my Asus screws are 25mm long. After some research and a wasted trip to a PC supply store, I learned that these are also called radiator screws. And that I needed #6-32 1 1/4" screws, which is available at the local hardware store as a pack for just over $1. Also, even though the hard drive cage seemed to be in the way, I was able to install the fans without a problem. So glad I didn't give up!
I am happy with this purchase. These are quality fans for less.
Specifics.. I have an AMD super-micro G34 racked board at home. This is my lab/test server and the 3 F8 fans ran 100% /100% of the time. I replaced them with these PWM fans (all fan connections on my board are PWM BTW). Stays just as cool and 1/20th the noise. As the board works hard the fans increase... Perfect for my setup.
FYI Suggestion for others --> If you do not have PWM fan connectors on your board buy a splitter and run them from the CPU PWM in your system. As the CPU ramps all your fans will too. There are products here on Amazon just for this purpose..
Would buy again from seller and manufacture.
