- INNOVATIVE DESIGN ENABKES QUIET AND EFFICIENT VENTILATION: The innovative design of the fan blades improves the air flow and facilitates a highly efficient ventilation. The impeller was designed with a focus on minimzing the noise level yet delivering the desired airflow and pressure.
- PERFECT CASE FAN REGULATION WITH PWM: The PWM function allows the motherboard to run the fan precisely at its necessary speed. This guarantees the required cooling and minimizes the noise level.
- TWO WAY INSTALLATION: Blow warm air out of the case. Draw cool air into your case.
- LONG SERVICE LIFE: The Fluid Dynamic Bearing comes with an oil capsule that avoids lubricant leakage. Thus this bearing is as quiet as a sleeve bearing but comes with a significantly higher service life.
- 4-Pin PWM fan with standard case.

Specifics.. I have an AMD super-micro G34 racked board at home. This is my lab/test server and the 3 F8 fans ran 100% /100% of the time. I replaced them with these PWM fans (all fan connections on my board are PWM BTW). Stays just as cool and 1/20th the noise. As the board works hard the fans increase... Perfect for my setup.
FYI Suggestion for others --> If you do not have PWM fan connectors on your board buy a splitter and run them from the CPU PWM in your system. As the CPU ramps all your fans will too. There are products here on Amazon just for this purpose..
Would buy again from seller and manufacture.
+PWM - always a good thing to have whether you're running them full speed or not.
+Easy to mount
+Clean and simple design
-Would have liked to see the cables with black coloring or a sleeve on them.
-The sticker should be on the back of the fan, not on the blades, it is rarely on straight and creates a wobbly effect.
-The screws are fine being silver, however black would have been preferred and they're not magnetic which is a pain.
Other thoughts towards these fans - I'd have liked to have seen sleeving on the cables, or had them be black to begin with. Makes things a lot easier to hide in areas where cable management isn't the greatest. Some easy mounting rubber pins would be a nice addition for a buck or two more to add some sound dampening against vibration. It also struck me as odd that the sticker wasn't on the back of the fan and it's just barren. The stickers are just slightly off and create an illusion of vibration because of that. I'll be removing them soon to clean up the design a bit more.
Set to low, this F8 pushes plenty of cool air towards the cage keeping the HDDs in the high 30s/low 40s and I can't hear it at all, even when putting my head near the cage, it's whisper quiet. To add further praise, the fan isn't mounted in what would be considered a proper fashion. The case's mounting rails don't actually line up with a 80mm (or a 92mm for that matter) so half of the fan is mounted to the proper fitting, the other half is mounted through the grill itself with no rubberized mounting holes in the fan or even a frame. Set to low, for all those negative conditions, its whisper quiet. That said, when this little guy is set to high it does sound like a swarm of killer bees wired on Deathwish Coffee, set to medium its audible and depending on personal tolerance would be rather distracting (I'm noise sensitive myself).
Based on just my experience with this little Artic, I'm going to reach for these instead of a Noctuas, the aesthetic is far more pleasing, pricing is significantly more competitive, and I'm willing to chance the performance/silence Artic offers. Glad I took the chance on this make.
I've never been a fan of Noctua because of their colors and not wanting to pry blades off and have to paint them.. I've ran Nocs, I've ran these. Audibly, I can tell very little difference between the two. Temps compared to the stock fans were only minimal, -5c degrees on average during idle, however it was just the silence I was looking for; these performed better than expected and quietly. The cables aren't sleeved on these Arctics - which is okay considering the price. The wires are very tiny so sleeving is a breeze if you need the aesthetic. Otherwise the bare wires are pale blue, yellow and green.
Don't be discouraged by the prices of these fans. They're quality! They just don't come with a flashy box and 12 different ways to connect/install it.
Update: I've been running these for 5 months now and they're still as quiet as the day I installed them; if you're weary of these being anything cheap and breaking within 2-3 months. The computer they're in runs 24/7 as it's also a media server, cheap would have started making some noise by now - but not a peep from these.
No but seriously, It's super quiet, blows a lot of air to keep my cpu cool, and made with GREAT Materials. I know this because I dumbly turned it on before I had it placed and then proceeded to hit the fan blades while they were going full speed on the hard metal cooling block like 4 times bringing them to a complete stop - this is how my previous one broke too btw... It didn't leave a scratch on this one though.
Happy with this one a lot!

Careful with the installation. The logo is on the opposite side of most typical fans.Read more
