- INNOVATIVE DESIGN ENABKES QUIET AND EFFICIENT VENTILATION: The innovative design of the fan blades improves the air flow and facilitates a highly efficient ventilation. The impeller was designed with a focus on minimzing the noise level yet delivering the desired airflow and pressure.
- PERFECT CASE FAN REGULATION WITH PWM: The PWM function allows the motherboard to run the fan precisely at its necessary speed. This guarantees the required cooling and minimizes the noise level.
- TWO WAY INSTALLATION: Blow warm air out of the case. Draw cool air into your case.
- LONG SERVICE LIFE: The Fluid Dynamic Bearing comes with an oil capsule that avoids lubricant leakage. Thus this bearing is as quiet as a sleeve bearing but comes with a significantly higher service life.
- 4-Pin PWM fan with standard case.

FYI if your unfamiliar with PST it essentially allows you to hook up multiple fans to a single header because each fan has a small pig tail from the main connector to hook another fan into. You can hook up to 5 fans from a single header. This is very nice for motherboards that have too few fan headers. I ended up having 4 of these fans use the PST function so all front case fans were in sync - this is very nice. Cable length is generous and should be more than sufficient for a full ATX case. I would absolutely recommend these. I would defenetly, without a doubt buy them again.
Another question that was answered for myself after using these was the static air pressure. They blow very well and move a lot of air. I have two of these mounted on my radiator for a closed loop water cooler I use (Corsair H100i). They don't have quite the static pressure of the Corsair HS series fans, but the system is not over clocked and I max out around 48c on the CPU with the ARCTIC F12's still. The Corsair are loud - like stupid loud you can hear them from another room when they are at full speed. The F12's at full throttle are magnitudes quieter (albet less static pressure) but still more than sufficient. They look cool too! No stupid LED's no gimmicks. Plastic is the nice thick type, I've broken blades in the past from all my tinkering and accidental bumping. I think the added couple blades defently help with noise and air flow. These are PERFECT for the front of a computer case or rear exhaust 120mm case port. They are also dual bearing fans. Now sleeve bearings are generally quieter (they don't last as long), these bearing fans are on par with how quiet the sleeve bearings are.
This is an amazing fan. It is very quiet and moved 2x the air as my old Cooler Master fans. While I do loose the cool looking LEDs with this fan, that is not my main concern. Since I do a lot of photo and video processing, my main concern is heat build up in my computer. With these fans, I saw a significant drop in internal temperatures and my CPU fan did not have to kick up that much. I know I said I have a liquid cooler so technically my CPU temps would not be affected, but I went 2 days with the stock Intel heat sink while my liquid cooler was being delivered so I know what is like.
Please note as for video processing, I sometimes do voice overs so sound is one of my biggest concerns. This fan took the noise level down to a really accepted level (and this is me with all 5 fans running). You will be able to hear the fans at 100% spin rate (but it is still pretty quiet, you would just hear the swoosh of air), but the one good thing about the high air flow is that you don't need these fans to run at 100%. I find my computer stays stable during low resource tasks such as watching YouTube or surfing the web, I can turn all the fans on my case down to 40% (the lowest allowed by my manual fan controller) and it will still stable. As for stress testing, I put the fans around 50-60% and the internal temps were still in a safe range. The sound is pretty much blends into background noise once you turn this fan down below around 85-90% and by the time you go under 70% you could barely hear it (and monitoring my Blue Yeti Microphone feed, I couldn't even distinguish it from ambient noise in my home and this is a pretty quiet room I am in).
After adding the fans, my new noise concern is the 3 hard drives in my computer which makes a slight hum when they are running. If you are looking for a replacement for noisy fans, I definitely recommend this!
Computer Set Up:
Case: Cooler Master N300-KWN1
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z170-HD3P-CF
OS: Windows 10 Professional
CPU: Intel Skylake Core i7-6700 (65W TDP)
RAM: 8GB DDR4 RAM (4x) = 32GB RAM
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970
This fan runs at nearly silent and the sound is pleasant at full rpms, but most of the time it runs at 500-600 rpm which is inaudible to my hearing. My whole case has noctuas in it, and while they are slightly more silent than these at similiar higher rpms, these at 1/3rd the cost make more sense for the avg user. Unless you need that completely silent pc go for them. They are pretty much inaudible at anything other than full speed. Attached a video for your references.
Their build quality is good but be careful upon installation, saw some reviews which mentioned issues none of which I've experienced, but doesn't hurt to be careful with the rubber casing.
Note: they only work for exhaust ports as the other side has rubber inserts for noise and vibration reduction. If you need them for intake usage get the non pro pwn version instead. Virtually the same as the pro except it works on both sides and cost a bit more.
Only downside I noted is there is a slight ticking noise you can hear if you put your ear right next to it. Inaudible from 1 feet away but i like to be detailed so letting you guys know. I noticed the same on the non pro version and didn't notice it on the noctua version. The nearly inaudible noise doesn't go away even on rubber inserts so it's just how the bearings might be.
