Freezer 34 eSports
Improved Heat Dissipation
Evenly spread direct-touch heat pipes and an optimised heat sink design with 54 cooling fins lead to an ideal heat dissipation for the Freezer 34 eSports.
A thermal coating creates micro-turbulences with a special surface structure. Combined with offset heatpipes this leads to an optimised heat-dissipation and to an increased cooling performance.
High Performance for High-End CPU
The contact surface of the Freezer 34 eSports heat pipes does not cover the full heatspreader, but, more importantly, is right where the processor DIE is and covers even the largest versions (18 core) completely.

I ordered a replacement through Amazon (due to Arctic taking so long) and the second one arrived on 4/3/2020. The second one the fan is not as loud but still has a loud whining noise at certain rpm's. I believe I'm going to return this cooler only because of the fan being so loud. The cooler itself is great just beware of the fans that come with it.
Results after installation with Arctic Freezer 34 single fan I'm still getting 45* idle but the CPU is now dipping down to 39* which is the best result i've gotten with the 3800x. In general most tasks the CPU seems to run cooler by about 5-10* but but on prolonged tasks like gaming COD MW temps are exactly the same range as the Wraith cooler.
Low noise even at full RPM, I literally cannot hear it over the graphics card fan now and in comparison to Wraith cooler can keep the CPU cool at 1200RPM in comparison to the 2800 RPM of the wraith cooler at "silent mode".
Instructions which screw mounts to use for attaching the the base plate are missing (Wasted 30 Minutes of my time trying to mock up my install to figure this out), it the mounts with the single line etched on them (not the long ones or the ones with 2 lines etched on them). If back plate is lose or detached from motherboard you will need to hold push it in in order to install the thumb screws, i cannot tell you how much time that takes with chubby fingers and having the board inside the case. Also if installation while board is in case i would recommenced good magnetic screw drivers.
I have built many systems in my time and boy this CPU cooler was a challenge. I would recommend to Arctic to go back to the drawings board for the AMD mount system and design it so the bottom bracket can be attached to the board prior to mounting the cooler. Plenty of other brands out there have figured this out a long time as it makes installation when Mobo is inside the case much easier. My install time trying to figure this cooler and able to get the correct screws installed and cooler mounted took 1-hour of my time. While this cooler is very quiet you may want to consider it is also tall and may not fit in some cases. Knowing what i know know now i would have not bought this cooler and kept the wraith cooler on.
After installation, my CPU was running in the proper range again and I got my system back. My only drawback so far is that the fan keeps hitting the cooling tower as I have a top tower cooling fan and the CPU fan is therefore mounted on top of the cooling tower facing down. I may have to figure out a little spacer and that should correct the problem. Other than that, I couldnt be happier. Price/performance is excellent - especially if you dont want to spend a ton on an older system.
I gave 3 stars because of the fan hitting the cooling ribs. It was a fairly straight-forward installation and after looking at their site, I had no issues with installation.
Update: loved this so much I replaced my other computers heatsink with this. The wraith cooler on my ryzen 2600 was giving 46 deg celc on idle, after I installed the freezer esports 34, temps on idle are between 27 and 28 deg celc. Excellent performance for the price and being air cooling.

Using this cooler the temps hover around 65°C on heavy transcoding work, and remains more or less silent, even at top fan speeds the sound is not annoying. Good solid cooling.
Chose green for the price!

installation was easy enough using the online guide on my phone , i made it harder on myself by leaving mobo mounted in case.
no clearance issues on b450 tommahawk max and define C Tg case.
performance is adequate for R5 3600 and much better than stock cooler. getting about 60-65 Celcius on gaming with a quiet fan curve in a limited air flow case.
noise is good with adjusted fan curve although the zen 2 Cpu sometimes causes it to spin up an down frequently creating unnecessary noise. may change all my fans in the future for noctua or be-quiet but currently stock case fans and the one on this match my color scheme and are good enough.
I wish I read that this cooler only comes with 1 fan unless you select the option to add another fan. I've ordered another fan anyway and it should arrive tomorrow. Until then ive just put a UpHere rgb fan in there for now.
This coolers looks great and so far has performed better than the wraith stealth cooler I had installed.
steer well clear if you want to use your pc for anything other then gaming or invest in some decent replacement fans.. which defeats the object of buying this cooler
