    Got them for an upcoming marathon and it's just awesome. Great cushion, not too soft/hard, just right. Keeps my legs and knees feel better after running long distance. It's built for warmer temperatures but it's still good even in during winter since our feet gets warm during runs. Really durable, especially the soles, but take note that these are pavement/road shoes so not that much traction for dirt/offroad, but it's still good regardless. Definitely worth it for the price, especially for the discounted price since the 27 is out. A bit longer, I got a 10.5 wide and the length feels like it was an 11. Support is good, which is rare for someone with high arch. Color is amazing, doesn't look too dirty when it's dirty. Buy this guys, or the 27s. I'm definitely buying the 27s as well. Asics is just awesome!

    This is a great pair of shoes.

    I order 10.5 wide (2e) and it fits true to size. I work in the school cafeteria and some time it may require me to stand up for hours preparing or speed walk to setup stands. It's comfortable both ways. It breath well in a warm kitchen but I can feel the chill in a walk in refrigerator (40 degree) or freezer (-3 degrees).

    I wouldn't recommend it in a warehouse setting where heavy items can fall and hit the toe area.

    I bought this second pair for our trip to Vegas. I needed a new shoes since my other one is a year old and it’s showing its age. I love this shoes for the arch support, width is wide and it feels like I’m walking on cushions. Ever since buying these shoes, my plantar fasciitis hasn’t comeback crossing my fingers. I was also told to put my foot on a golf ball and roll it around to help my plantar fasciitis so it doesn’t flare up. So every January I plan on buying me a new pair.     There are quite a number of variations in the gel Nimbus collection. At the time of purchase, this was the newest version I believe. It was very comfortable, but I ended up returning it, first off because I needed a half size larger than I usually wear, but also because I ended up purchasing the gel Nimbus 25 because it was very similar and much cheaper. I find the quality to be very good, I enjoy the mash elastic tongue that I can almost wear without shoelaces, which is great because I do not like tight shoes. They are very squishy and bouncy, which is very nice. I am a little concerned that because of that, they may wear out more quickly And lose that squishy bounciness. They are definitely on a cloud though, I can definitely say that! Impressed with the initial quality. I also love all of the different color schemes you can choose from.

    I am over 70 years of age. I have over the years run, jogged and power walked. I keep in reasonably good shape. I have had shoes from Brooks Nike, Saucony and Asics. I have in the past few years had problems with wearing out the back of the shoe on the inside behind my heel. Years ago when they were new to the market I had a pair of Nike Air Max and they were great. I had been running in shoes that were to put it bluntly crap. Not that long ago I had a pair of Nike Pegasus that were good. I tried a different nike but it did not work out. I thought I had found a good option with another pair of Pegasus, but soon they were wearing and causing blisters. I started jogging in a pair of Asics Gel Excite. I had worn out a couple pair of those walking (again the heel). The most recent pair though has held up since I started jogging again. I felt that I needed some more cushioning so decided to try the Nimbus model. I don't have a wide foot, but the Nike Pegasus felt very narrow. Then Nimbus has a comfortable width. My heel feels locked in and I don't notice any up and down movement of my heel in the shoe. I like the 'lighter' tongue. I am able to get the shoe well laced without causing any undue pressure. I have not noticed any wear on the heel area and have had no blistering issues. I have put on around 100 miles so far and am quite happy with these shoes. Part of me thinks that I should order another pair to keep in the wings for when I wear these ones out. On the other hand I did that with the Pegasus during my honeymoon phase with them and I now have a pair, unworn and in the original box. I hope these shoes continue to perform for me. i can feel the cushioning difference between the Nimbus and Gel Excite. Both shoes feel stable laterally which is good news. The shoes seem well made, comfortable and great for my use.
