A handsome all-around training shoe, which you'll appreciate for comfort, fit, and durability thanks to the shock attenuation of the rearfoot GEL Cushioning System and width-specific sizing. AHAR heel plug on the outsole means long life.
In 1949, Mr. Kihachiro Onitsuka began his athletic footwear company (Onitsuka Co., Ltd.) by manufacturing basketball shoes out of his living room in Kobe, Japan. He chose the name ASICS for his company in 1977, based on a famous Latin phrase "Anima Sana In Corpore Sano," which, when translated, expresses the ancient ideal of "A Sound Mind in a Sound Body." Taking the acronym of this phrase, ASICS was founded on the belief that the best way to create a healthy and happy lifestyle is to promote total health and fitness. Today, ASICS offers a full line of performance-driven athletic shoes and technical active sports apparel and accessories dedicated to bringing harmony to the body and soul.

Uncharacteristically, Amazon has been a pain to deal with. I'm not sure how many times you have to tell the same story to different people but we're on our third Amazon employee. I've been a customer for years and this is the first problem of this nature I have encountered and I hope it's not the beginning of the end for Amazon but from the people I've talked to, they need some better help.
Bottom line, I wouldn't order these shoes from this seller and as far as the sizing, I've ordered ASICS before with no problem on sizing so this has been a LOSE/LOSE situation all way around. Better Luck To All.
The shoe itself is just ok...a typical cross-training shoe. Nothing special about it. But it did fit and was fairly comfortable. I would say that it took a little breaking into at first, but I have fairly wide feet. But the most important thing to me was that the shoe fit and I didn't have to return it.
I use these shoes as my everyday shoe now...including running, exercise, and some sports. Obviously if you're playing basketball, basketball shoes are better, and if you're playing tennis or court sports, tennis shoes are better. But as an all-around shoe, this has worked out well.
-The shoe fits as it should
-Good for all around activity and sports
-Takes some time to break in
None can compare to ASICS w.r.t. comfortable/support, by far best shoe company.
I bought these five months ago, and they're holding up decently. The rubber tip on the toe is beginning to peel, but that is expected as I drag my feet when playing racket sports. I would recommend this to anyone who inquired.
I am not a shoe snob or anything so I am usually pretty easy to please. I did notice that the shoes I bought in the mall were made in China and these were made in Vietnam but they are the exact same model. I hope this helps.
