Propulsion Trusstic System for Quick Transitions
The 8.1-ounce ASICS Women's GEL-Noosa Tri 8 Shoe allows you to maximize your performance with quick transitions, especially from biking to running. For outstanding responsiveness, it features the Propulsion Trusstic System, which creates tension as your heel strikes the ground and your toes lift off. Designed with the Impact Guidance System (I.G.S.) to enhance your natural gait and movement off the ground, the shoe includes the Guidance Line, a vertical flex groove that enables efficiency during your runs.
The GEL-Noosa Tri 8 features the GEL cushioning system in both the front and rear of shoe for maximum flexibility and shock absorption.
Stable Support with Lightweight Midsole System
The GEL-Noosa Tri 8 is made from Solyte midsole material, which offers different densities in the heel and forefoot for a comfortable feel. The shoe also features the Space Trusstic System, a stabilizing feature that creates a pocket next to the midsole, which results in more efficient foot function while maintaining structural integrity. For support and durability, it features Dynamic DuoMax support in the midsole and ASICS High Abrasion Rubber (AHAR) in the DuraSponge outsole.
Comfort Features Reduce Irritation
The shoe features a breathable mesh upper to reduce irritation on long runs or rides and helps keep your feet cool and comfortable. The perforated sock liner supports moisture drainage to keep your feet cool and prevent odors. The Wet Grip Outsole is made from a blend of components that enhances traction when running on wet surfaces.
Personalized Fit with Vivid Colors
To help with quick transitions and allow for a personalized fit, the GEL-Noosa Tri 8 features optional elastic laces along with heel and tongue grips for stability. The shoe is designed with bright colors on the upper and the soles for a vivid look that allows you to express your individual style and be more visible when running.

I run moderately on a regular basis. Approximately 20 miles or so per week. I'm not particularly the best runner out there, not by a long shot. I consider myself on the slow end of average and I'm constantly having to pay attention to my form and stride and make corrections. I've tried multiple different running shoes over the past few years - different brands and models in different sizes. But none have instantly made me feel like I'm running differently like these did. And I didn't have that awkward first week of "break in" runs.
I normally wear a 7.5 dress flat and went for an 8 with these and they fir perfectly. However, I find that going up a half size helps limit my blisters. I don't normally go up half a size for a fashion shoe.
Also, I get compliments on them EVERYWHERE I go - from women AND men! Ladies, when's the last time a guy has noticed your shoes unless you were in 6" spike heels? I was worried when I bought them impulsively that maybe they were a little too juvenile or cutesy for my taste, but I love them.
They liven up my running gear, throw a little extra fun into running, and most of all, they're super comfortable and help my step immensely. I shaved 45 seconds off each of my 5 miles on my first run in them! Maybe they just made me feel a little more saucy than usually, but who cares?! I'll take the improvement any way I can get it.
Although I did not buy this shoe for running, I was looking for a light weight, airy, and supportive shoe for summer. I recently had back surgery and am looking forward to knee replacements, and the lighter in weight the shoe, the better. These are light, airy, and cute.
BUT, they definitely run small. I had to return my normal size and order 1/2 size larger because, although I could put these on over nylons, I could not have comfortably put them on over an absorbent cotton sock. I know some runners wear thin socks and some wear thicker socks, so beware. For light weight socks go 1/2 size larger than normal and for thicker socks go up a full size.
I have never bought any ASICS shoes before, so I hope these hold up - considering there are the most costly shoe I have ever purchased! And I thought some of my New Balance walkers were costly. I'm banking on the fact that running shoes should be able to take a beating - and hopefully last through a few races!
Great for a day of walking at flea markets, outdoor shopping centers, the mall, etc.
P.S. I am not a flashy kind of person and these really freaked me out when I saw them in the picture. However, I was looking for extreme comfort and the reviews said they were really comfortable. So, I gambled on them. They really are fun to wear. It brings out a fun side of me......Wear them and Enjoy the DAY!
