So far, its been better than expected. Runs smooth, very little noise and super fast with a SSD drive installed. A little expensive, but if you want power in a small case, this is the best. Been looking for something like this for over a year.

After 5 months, it runs sweet. Pretty happy with this mini but powerful PC!

I bought one of these about a month ago. It is a great machine with decent speed and an awesome video card (gaming at 1920 with all visual tweaks on "high"). The one beef I had with this PC was the drivers and support for Windows 8.1. At the same time I bought it, I bought a new copy of Windows 8.1 and installed it clean on the machine. I had a lot of trouble with it recognizing a USB drive (the external drive would power down during sleep and was not woken up when the PC awoke -- had to be unplugged and re-plugged in each time). Also, a USB card reader would have a similar problem. An SD card inserted in the external card reader slot would pop up Explorer like it should but then if the PC went to sleep and later awoke, inserting an SD card would not be recognized unless the reader was unplugged and re-plugged. Also, the wireless USB mouse I had (Logitech 310) was jerky and skipped around a lot most of the time.

I even went to the extent of buying a new USB 3.0 external HD and a new USB 3.0 card reader and new Logitech 510 wireless mouse. The problems with all three persisted. If I disabled USB 3.0 in the BIOS, USB devices responded much better, but still had some issues.

I re-installed Win 8.1 again from scratch and had the same problems. At first I used only the drivers included on the DVD that came with the PC, then I tried updating them from the ASRock web site, then from the component manufacturer's web site(s). Still no luck.

There were also problems with the computer not going to sleep consistently. Often after a reboot, it would sleep. But then after using various desktop apps all day, it would not sleep after the specified sleep time.

Perfect upgrade for my old Atom based version of this product line. While this is the model lacking an already installed msata drive the option is there, and they even threw in the little screw for it. I have yet to test it's prowess in gaming, but Windows 7 gives the m270x graphics a solid 7.5. This rig is primarily going to be used for streaming video and as a cable dvr, tasks it has so far excelled at. May be overkill for most htpc setups, but I also intend to replace ODD with Blu-ray and slap an extra HDD in, and aforementioned msata SSD. I had originally planned to wait for the just announced 6th Gen mini-pc by Asrock, but couldn't resist for $330. I hope to get another 7 years out of this one.
