Bought this laptop last week from superior deal and it got here this week, so A+ to superior deal on fast shipping. When I was reading all of the review for this machine there was one little fact that I wanted to know but could never find and here it is the Battery life on this guy is ~4-6 hours depending on what you do. It also came with some bloatware that made the battery seem low when I first got it, it displayed at that time at 2:30 hrs remaining on a 90% charge. So, I recommending tweak some settings to get 6hrs on power saving mode. Also another thing to take into consideration is the fact that this laptop's bios come locked as in they do not allow for overclocking or underclocking. I'm currently trying to find a way to underclock to see if I can get more battery life but I do understand why Asus opted to remove this feature. Overall this model is a winner it's fast and last long and looks great, and I wholeheartly recommend it for school or work.
Also something I forget to mention is that the model of this laptop is K53E, and that is the model you have to type in order to get the drivers of this laptop. I'll also probably be upgrading to a SSD and some more memory, so I'll update my review when and if that happens.
