- Reviewed in the United States on May 10, 2022I upgraded to this laptop from a Dell and spent more than I usually do but so far I am not regretting it. This computer is very fast and snappy thanks to the 12th gen cpu and top of the line graphics and memory. The build quality is also very nice; it just feels like a quality product. The Asus software is also excellent, much superior to Dell's maintenance software. If you want a top of the line laptop that you can use for gaming, creativity or just as a future proof machine, then this is an excellent choice.

- Reviewed in the United States on July 18, 2022Plenty of power for work and high detail gaming. Components are quality, so you know this will last over the average 3-5 year mark. Make sure to adjust the settings and max it out when you're plugged into an outlet to experience it's true potential.
If you're going off the battery, be prepared to do light work, browse the web or watch movies.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 11, 2025It was great while it lasted. I have another asus laptop that’s from 2014 that’s still going just fine but this one only lasted 2.5 years. Now when we turn it on it will sometimes take several boot cycles before it will actually display on the screen. I’ve tried every recommendation I can find for it but even doing a clean install of windows didn’t fix it. It’s very disappointing to have to replace a $3500 laptop after only 2.5 years and we are going to avoid Asus for a long time.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 13, 2022I purchased this primarily to game while I travel and watch Netflix, etc. I have also been using the laptop at home connected to an external 27” monitor, this thing is fast and runs everything flawlessly at max settings. I saw another comment about the sound - I personally think the sound is great and the screen is very nice as well. Overall I am very satisfied with this purchase and would highly recommend it.
Gaming - amazing
Battery life - TBD (it’s been plugged in the entire time on turbo mode).
- Reviewed in the United States on May 25, 2023Ok, where do I start. I will try to shorten this nightmare. I decided one day I was going to finally buy this. When I went to buy it, Amazon suggested I buy used and save 300 . I was link hmm, it is from Amazon what could go wrong and purchased this laptop. When it arrived first thing I noticed was all the drivers were missing and the machine was wiped and none of the Asus factory software was included, as if someone wiped with a Window 11 Install. This meant that nothing worked right. No Asus settings for the MUX switch and power settings and drivers etc... So I called Asus and spoke with them and they had the laptop registered to someone else and at that time told me my warranty Ended in June, June 16th to be exact. I asked, isn't it supposed to be a year, she replied yes. So I said that should be dec 26th of this year. She said said she would fix that. Two moonths go by and the motherboard died. Yes, two months after very little use the mother board dies. I setup an RMA, and I send it in. I then get a notice that the mother board was dead and had to be replaced and that it would cost a bunch of money as it was out of warranty. I said what, why is that, I was told a year, she said no , it expires 90 days after I bought it, I said what, can I extent the warranty, they said no, you would have to do that withinn the 90 days. I said well I was told I had till at least June then I was told it would corrected to a year. Anyway, they then flagged the warranty which I saw in the my asus as dec to change to expired and I could not purchase an extended like most people. It turns out when you buy used it is only 90 days. Anyway after complaining and going to the CEO it got fixed. Now when I get it back, the sound is all messed up. Sounds like a tin can. Needless to say. I am so frustrated and about done with Asus. If their stuff don't break your lucky cause when it does, buckle for a ride in frustration. I am about fed up with their service and the way they treat their customers. All I can say is if you buy Asus buy New and get the warranty and do not let it expire . That should be priority and do not listen to customer service, look at your paperwork and check everything before you buy and when you do make sure to buy that warranty, cause they do not want you to have one cause all their stuff breaks. I will never ever buy Asus again. I figure so far I have spent over 50k with Asus, now, I will not give them another dime because of the service I got. I wish there was a good ol middle finger emoji cause how I feel about Asus. Taking my business elsewhere. And Amazon could care less, they offered me to take it back with a 15% restocking fee. Lesson learned do not buy used, get a warranty and do not ever buy Asus again. NIGHTMARE
- Reviewed in the United States on March 25, 2022Just like that title says ... Nice Upgrade from my old Alienware-18 Gaming Laptop but the sound ABSOLUTELY SUCKS!. I had to buy a set of external speakers to go with it. It sounded like someone stuffed a pillow into the speakers, it is very muffled and beyond far too (fake-sounding) bassy.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 20, 2022I love its performance with 32GB of ddr5 ram and i9 12900h CPU, RTX 3080 ti.
The only thing I really hate about this laptop is its trackpad.
I have been using lots of different gaming laptops and by far, this one has the worst trackpad
feeling among all. while I move the mouse cursor and click things, its recognizing sensitivity is
somewhat horrible. I keep making a false movement with it. and most of all, sometimes it is
laggy? like feeling while you move the cursor and this is not a thing I expect from a 240hz refresh
rate monitor. It kinda does feel mouse cursor is moving slow and later on it gets back to normal as way it is supposed to be and happens again back and forth while I am using it. Using a keyboard and mouse will solve these issues, so now I don't use this laptop if I don't have a keyboard and mouse.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 17, 2022This is a good deal, except the fact it doesn't have a webcam (it is known in Strix). I use it for both gaming and AI development, with Ti RTX on Ampere architecture it is quite fast, especially in small scale NLP stuff.

MarioReviewed in the United Arab Emirates on February 10, 20235.0 out of 5 stars Im an engineer, came as expected, performs as expected
I see many reviews about wrong item shipped, there are options when you order be sure you have selected the right ones.
Mine came as expected with 3080ti, since then I have had frequent updates and bios updated from asus as well as frequent updates on their armory crate that has performance profiles.
I use this laptop to game on my TV, for work in unreal engine 5 and software development. I have no complaints about how this device works versus my expectation.
My only recommendation to you would he to consider, if undervolting I'd important it does not work on a 12900h processor and unlike the m15 asus did not include an 80mv option to undervolt for better thermals.
The quality of the device is great fir what you pay for.
I am looking forward to getting their next rtx 4090 version for work when it's available.
