Tried to buy a new Dell XPS and discovered that the prices were ridiculously over priced because of the crypto mining that has driven the video graphics cards out of sight. Finally bought a new Dell XPS on EBay that had had its Nvidea 3060 ti ripped out and sold separately to the crypto miners!
Bought this Nvidea card to use until the DDR6 graphic cards return to sanity! It is a DDR5 and works fine within the new Dell and is adequate at 1028 viewing with reasonable fps. Will probably get an Nvidea 3060ti or 3070 when prices return to reality! This card is ok for its level!

I've had my stock graphics card for 5 or so years and pre-ordered Destiny 2 Shadowkeep when it was first announced that it could be pre-ordered and as I was investigating the specs of the game I found that my stock graphics card wouldn't do the game justice plus I've wanted to upgrade for a while so I got this gem of a graphics card. The price was and still is one of the big selling points at least when i bought it it was but it's well worth the money cause now I can run any game I want on the highest graphic setting. I did see a review of the fan noise but it hasn't been an issue with me. Just to give ya an idea of how great this card is the games I have are World of Tanks, Starcraft 2 and Destiny 2. All run with stunning detail and I'm still gettin used to how much faster they run thanks to the card. The only downside, and this is my fault for not lookin at the specs of the card before I bought it, is that I had to upgrade my power supply to a 600 watt one so I could have the proper connecter to power it. Other than that I'd get this again in a heartbeat and HIGHLY recomend it if u want a great graphics card for a relatively inexpensive price.

Probably the sweet spot in bang-for-buck

This particular 1660 seems to be about the sweet spot in bang-for-buck. It's strong enough that it will run anything from today (2020) nicely and without too much fuss including VR, MS Flight Sim, etc. But it's not so strong that you will need to sell blood to afford it. It has enough graphic RAM to go for a few extra years. All in all, the 1660 seems to strike a really good sweet spot at the time of this writing.

Will it run everything at 4k with all effects on? No. Definitely not. Will it realtime raytrace? Also no. Will it play every single brand new PC game you might want to play? Yes. Will it render at 1080p with respectable visual settings, or 4k on "eh" settings? Yes. Will it run on pretty much any desktop you have right now? Yes. Will your games look good? Yes. For a ballpark $200 graphics card, that's pretty good.

I have a mini-itx box and wanted to use Microsoft Flight Simulator. My prior graphic card was out of specs though the program could run. Visuals quality improved significantly. I have also been encoding/transcoding videos and was surprised by the speed gain using the NVIDIA GPU. The nose suppression program offered by NVIDIA (RTX something.. though it doesn't need an RTX card) is surprisingly good (I also use a USB microphone for my recordings).
In addition, I have tried running Pandas/Python with GPU optimization, and while the memory at 6 gb is quite restricted, speed gain is significant. Unfortunately, those libraries do not break up your data and it just crashes when it hits the memory limit, but still, speed optimization of 50x when using a matrix with over 10 million rows is amazing.

Absolutely fabulous price/performance/power consumption/size on this card.
I built a mini itx 1080 game rig with all AMD in mind. This thing came on the scene and blew all my rx580 dreams out of the water. Matching price point with the itx sized 580's on the scene at the time. I've had it a few months and have been feeding it new game after new game, (which I set on ultra everything) to almost boringly perfect results. I Max out my monitors frame rate with no tearing, or I use vsync and never drop a frame (at 60fps min).
No extra fans in the case and I can game all day with it on my desk, next to my face and not be bothered. 52-74c all day. Fan is not as loud as the stock wraith on the cpu.

I don't 4k or g-sync or 240Hz, so I know I'm not railing the card. But for my 1080p, mini itx standards, this thing is the absolute best buy.

I have been rocking the GTX 1050ti for about a year now, and while the card does hold up well I have been saving up for the 1060 6GB. That card goes for $300, and when I was finally getting close to that goal Nvidia decides to drop the GTX 1660 at a jaw-dropping $225. Surely it had to be worse than the 1060 6GB, right? Boy was I wrong.

Trust me when I say, you can rest easy knowing this card is a worthy purchase. Despite the price being lower than a new 1060 6GB, it outperforms the card by a significant margin. Whether you are upgrading your machine or building a new one, this is the go-to budget card right now.

With the performance you get for the price point? This card is worth every penny.

I upgraded to this from a Geforce 970. It turned out to be a horizontal upgrade. Not as powerful as the 970 was, but more modern graphics technology. In U4E games it seems to run smoother and look nicer than the 970 did. But it has lower frames on the same settings on most AAA titles. I attribute this mostly to it throttling down when it heats up too much. It is getting to 91c and then starts chugging in order not to burn itself up. :( I would buy the version with the giant heat sync on it if I had it to do over again.

Le pongo 4 estrellas porque cuando la compre hace un año y medio, decía 1660 con memoria gddr 6 y me llegó con gddr 5, de ahí en fuera todo bien, buena para jugar a juegos en resolución 1080p entre alto y ultra dependiendo el juego, obviamente se calienta más por solo tener un ventilador pero con pasta térmica adecuada y una buena ventilación las temperaturas van entre 70 y 80, barata en su momento antes de la pandemia.

他のモデルと比べてヒートシンクが小さめでシングルファンなせいか、冷却性能はイマイチなようで
ケース内のエアフローに気を配っていても、高負荷時は80～85℃あたりまで温度が上がってしまいます。

15分もゲームを動かせばヘッドフォン越しでも気になる程にファンの音が大きくなるので、
付属ソフトで設定を細かく変更して使うことにしました。

ファンの回転数は27％～100％の範囲で温度変化に合わせて設定する事ができるので、クロック周波数や電力設定をこれと合わせながら設定するとうまい具合に設定できました。
ただ、パフォーマンスとのバランスを考えるとかなりシビアになりそうです。
ベンチマークスコアと静音性の兼ね合いに拘る方は他のモデルを選ぶか、これより上位のモデルを選ぶことをおすすめします。

また、補助電源8ピンコネクタの近くに小さな白いLEDが眩しく光っています。
コネクタが外れていると赤く光るので、接続状態を表すインジケーターだと思うのですが、
PCをシャットダウンしたあとも通電している限り光り続けるので、気になる人もいるかも知れません。
