Long story short, it's a great laptop. It can run most games in high settings (like Monster Hunter), a few in ultra (like The Witcher 3), and after upgrading the ram, nothing I throw at it makes it lag. The keyboard and screen are very pleasant. I upgraded the RAM from 8 to 32 and have yet to see it lag, no matter what I throw at it. I'm no computer expert but I think I got the very best value out of this one, highest quality at the lowest price. I've recommended it to friends and those who have gotten it have been blown away. If something seems wrong with the laptop, send it back, because it's built to work perfectly.

Just to get specific for reference, a couple of games I've played in it that run smooth as butter in high-to-ultra settings are:

Regarding what a few other reviewers have said about the fan being too noisy, just press Fn + F5 to switch to silent mode. Too slow for games? Press it again for performance or turbo modes. If you play with it, I suggest wearing headphones, otherwise the fans are bound to get annoying. Wear a headset, you won't even notice the fans.

We read all sorts of reviews that said Asus makes great gaming machines. We needed gaming power for some of the work we do, and we liked the idea that this machine was made tougher than the average laptop, because we can sometimes be rough on our machines. But when we got it, the screen had an annoying yellow tint to it that no matter what we tried, we couldn't get rid of it. Sort of like the blue light filter that turns on at night on my cell phone, but all the time, and the Windows night light feature was not engaged. I'm a photographer and my wife is a quilt designer, so color accuracy is critical for us. We called Asus, and the customer service was abysmal, ultimately telling us we needed to contact Amazon for a replacement. Which we did, but the second machine has the same problem. No more Asus computers or anything else Asus for our family.

Works great, Boots up extremely fast, Can play games like Apex Legends with fairly high settings at 1080 and not lose framerate. Solid laptop.

Cons
1. Biggest con for me which if I knew I would of NOT bought this laptop
Anti-Ghosting - You cannot press more than 3 buttons at the same time. So in a game. If you are holding W to move, A or D to strafe, and maybe holding CTRL to crouch you cannot do any other command. I've noticed in Apex Legends Ill try to Jump out of a sprinting slide and the jump wont register. Or playing a MMO I may be holding WD to strafe move. and need to hold SHIFT and press 1 to use a ability and it wont register because its to many keys at once. This for me is a deal breaker to be honest. However for MOST games you wont notice. But the games I frequent the most its very noticeable.

2. Audio is pretty lackluster, It has good clarity but almost no bass whatsoever. I highly recommend headphones.

3. Fan Noise. When Non-gaming its very quiet. However booting up even a very non demanding game the laptop starts screaming at you. Which also contributes to the bad Audio since the fans are VERY loud. Easily the loudest of any laptop I've owned.

4. FN Key - Their is a FN key on the bottom left of the keyboard between Ctrl and Windows key. And I press it ALL the time on accident when trying to press Ctrl. From muscle memory with 99% of all other keyboard layouts its exactly where the CTRL key typically is laid out.

Other than that the laptop is a great value. For me personally due to the No Multi key, and fan noise I would not recommend this laptop.

Me encanto la pantalla de 144hz y mas que es a 17pulgadas, la verdad no consigues una de 17 a ese precio, se que la 1650ti no es lo mejor, pero vaya es un buen upgrade para la locura de precios actuales de GPUs, Asi mismo puedes expandirle un ssd sata, ya que trae un nvme de 512gb, y sus 8gbs de memoria son a 3200mhz.

El equipo es bastante ligero y configurable en colores de su teclado.

Lo que no me agrado que no trae la letra Ñ

Todo lo demás delicioso.

Compre esta laptop ya que se encontraba a un precio razonable por las características de Hardware (21mil mxn), sin embargo si la requieres para juegos de gama media - alta te recomiendo hacer un upgrade de memoria Ram de 16gb y en mi caso también agregué un SSD adicional de 1TB, sólo así puedes ejecutar con gráficos nivel medio - alto juegos de gama media-alta.

En general buen equipo, buen procesador y tarjeta gráfica.
