Extend Your Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi-connection strength varies based on your environment, so the PCE-AC68 intelligently detects wireless router locations and ‘shapes’ data transmissions using three external antennas and high-powered beam-packing — assuring the fastest stable connection.
No More Dead Zones
Powerful two-way transmission and a signal-boosting high-gain design give the PCE-AC68 improved two-way transmission that extends Wi-Fi range and coverage by up to 150% compared to generic client devices. This extended reach means the elimination of dead spots at any location, offering fast and uninterrupted HD streaming and smooth multiplayer gaming wherever you may be.
Flexible Antenna Placement
The three detachable antennas of the PCE-AC68 can be placed remotely via bundled extension cables. A magnetized stand also comes in the box, which can easily attach to various surfaces for more placement options. By making the antennas mobile, the design offers more flexibility in choosing locations for better signal reception and quality.
Stylish Aluminum Heatsink
The added heatsink uses highly-conductive aluminum to remove heat from the chipset, ensuring greater reliability for non-stop operation. Lower temperatures translate into a more stable device in all climate conditions, even during hot summers, and greater stability means more consistent connectivity and longer product lifespan. Plus, the heatsink has been crafted for a stylish look, once more showing ASUS always goes beyond the specifications.

Installation is quite straightforward. As other reviewers have said, just install the drivers from the main website before physically installing this card. I didn't bother using the packaged CD since the drivers on it were outdated. I like that the antenna stand is magnetized; putting the stand onto my case rather than having it take up space on my desk is wonderful. This pup is pricey, but it does its job for sure.
Setup: Win 10, Netgear R7000P-100NAS router. PC is 1 room over from router, separated by a drywall wall w/ no door.
Results: Signal -58 dbm, Avg Speed: 877.5 Mbps
"EDIT: I just realized all the reviews on this page are a mix of different models" Not sure what everyone is talking about with the driver issues. I run Windows 10 64-bit and found it to be completely straight forward. Contrary to several comments, Windows did not already have a driver for the card. However I simply popped in the provided CD and installed the ASUS WLAN Control Center/drivers. Windows immediately picked up the card and started looking for open networks. The control center had a very user friendly GUI that allows you to view available SSID's and also monitors your current connection in real-time. (It does eat up a small chunk of RAM while doing this, but there's no need to leave it running once setup). My only complaint, which in the grand scheme of things is minor I know, but it really annoying for a product of this price/quality, is that it didn't come with a retention screw for the card! I guess they figure most people have one holding in the empty slot cover, but my case uses snap-in slot covers, so I did not. None of my loose screws in the toolbox fit either, so my card is currently being held in place by a bread bag twisty! Funny... till it comes loose from a tug on external antenna cables and the card pops out and lands on my GPU...
The material feels solid, but the card has a slight curve to it, you can see this in my screenshots. Also, there is a very bright blue LED on the back. The cord for the antenna is about a meter long (I didn't measure this is a rough estimate)
I'm only about 40feet away from my router, so im not sure how this will fare at a farther distance.
Overall, it's a solid connection, no noticeable dips while gaming, streaming, or downloading and was quick and easy to set up.

Before you buy, make sure you dont have windows 1709 update and you can also search up "asus pce-68 windows 1709 and you can see a huge thread. .
Make sure that you use the latest drivers
W10 64 y en linux con Arch (más complicado de instalar).
Necesario instalar el driver del fabricante, no te lo instala windows automáticamente.
En mi caso vino con un extensor y base para las antenas.
Bought this based on the excellent reviews on Amazon and a number of other computer hardware sites. Opted for this over the TP-Link option which was slightly cheaper due to the ability to have an external antenna. My computer's back is pretty close to a wall so thought this would come in handy.
The card itself is small and easily fit into my computer case. The antennas are surprisingly large and come with a magnetic base which attaches to the side of the computer case reducing clutter. Card manages 700-900Mbps on my 802.11ac network.

I'm getting 900mbps to my trendnet ac1750v2 router through three walls. Complaining? Think not!
Thanks again Asus!
