I bought several different third-party USB charging cables and power adapters over the past few months, thinking my Transformer TF201 was nearly a paperweight. None of them ever seemed to work, and I tried every combination - each cable with different wall adapters, as well as each cable plugged into different USB ports on different computers (USB 2.0 and 3.0), then all of those while plugged into the keyboard as well. For some reason, my TF201 charged at a snails pace with one of the cables I had, plugged into my desktop PC, but it never showed it was actually charging. I only write this because maybe you've been through the same thing and it rings a bell.

Anyways, after months of turmoil I finally decided to spend the money on this official Asus one in hopes it would work. It does.

Listen, if your charger stops working, just drop the money on this one and save yourself some headache. Learn from my mistakes.

This charger and cable is the exact one that came with the Asus TF300.

Your charger may not be bad. I found out from reading other reviewers about placing the charger into the freezer for a whole day (place the charger into a ziplock bag to keep dry). Take it out of the freezer (after a day or two) and leave to dry for a few hours then check again. Not sure the reason, maybe it resetting an overcharge circuitry. It charged up my Asus just as new. Now, I have a spare charger and cable.

The overcharge circuitry might be doing its job, but one star deducted since Asus should be letting their customers know about this. Now it makes me wonder how often does this happens to everyone else...

I purchased this product because it was made by ASUS, thinking that it would be high quality. I was mistaken. Less than 90 days with it, the cord snapped where it meets the tablet. ASUS informed me that since it the problem was a cracked cord that it was NOT a manufacturing defect. This cord has always been attached to the adapter and kept in one spot only and that's next to my lazy boy. It has not been abused in any shape or form. I believe that the cord was just cheaply manufactured using a rubber casing that doesn't remain supple enough. I won't be purchasing from ASUS again.

I had an accident with my TF101 and it fell off the table, then I couldn't charge it at all. After some tinkering, and to my relief, I discovered that just the charger and data cable wasn't working. I found this slightly used Asus 10/18 Power Adapter here and bought it quickly, since original accessories/parts for the TF101 are getting harder to find these days. The cable is 5 feet long, to my pleasant surprise. and works fine for both power and data. I got it right on schedule. It had very light scratches just as the seller said but is was really not that bad. It actually looked better than what I had, which was a few years old.

There are a lot of imitation, high-grade, class A products out there. Nobody can really be sure any more these days. But the thing that made me buy this product was the seller guarantee. It made me feel safe somehow. Really glad I did, too.

I would recommend this product!

Really great charger. Charges the TF300t fast. The cable that this comes with is a bit short, so I got a second cable (http://www.amazon.com/PWR-Charging-Transformer-Touchscreen-7n21135100344/dp/B008G2GBN4/ref=pd_sim_pc_1?ie=UTF8&refRID=0N54CZ5PN9XF9AZG45D7), which works really well.

There are 3rd party chargers for the TF300t, but I've always read horror stories about those chargers messing up the charging port or frying something. Since the Asus tabs are always a bit tricky, I would recommend sticking to the OEM version in this case.

This charger, of course, also charges other android devices powered via the micro usb port.

Dependable, worked out of the box, what else can I say. Came with a nice plastic film to protect the finish until I was able to peel it off and use it. Very nicely done. Small box. Directly replaces the one that came with the tablet.

Well, I've had this charger for quite a few months now. It's got all the oomph of the original; it's too bad it's so dambed expensive for what you get, and by that I mean....you really get SHORTED by the stupid cord! It's all of 38'' ! That's it! Believe me, if your original charger craps out, you don't want to buy one of those cheap imitations, but you'd think, after paying $20.00 for this thing, they'd at least put a four-foot cord on it! The ONLY reason for the three stars is that short cord; it has hampered operation of my tablet so many times, it's very frustrating. It really does suck not to have that extra foot of length. No thanks to you, cheapskate dudes at Asus for cutting this very very STUPID corner, and saving, what? .7¢ per unit on wire and insulation. And yes, I meant < a penny!
We should all get angry over stupid slights such as this. Bioman out.
