This is my 2nd ASUS board used in a customer live web streaming/video editing workstation and I am very happy with the results!!
Rosewill Throne tower full in white. With blue led fans
5820k haswell, which btw this board can easily over clock into much higher mghz.
16 gb crucial ddr4
Evga supernova 850 gold
Evga GeForce gtx970, currently one, but will sli soon. Note; the graphics cards well cover the bottom heat sink for the chip set as you'll see in my photos. Sort of bummed, wishing I could find a white case for my graphics card.
Corsair H110 - this water cooler took some time to mount onto my throne case, other then that amazing and no mess or refills needed on the units. Average life 5 years.
It's complete now, but here's a picture while it was still being finished up. Love this motherboard.
Hope this helped!
Now in Dec 2014, I've owned both the MSI Gaming 7, and the ASUS X99-PRO. Historically, I've owned all ASUS ROG products. The ASUS board is further refined and everything just works.
I'm using i7-5930K, 2x MSI 970 (SLI), Samsung 850, Corsair DDR4-2133, Corsair H80i, Corsair 760i.
This is the motherboard to purchase. The layout is phenomenal, BIOS update a charm. All of my components were recognized on initial boot with initial BIOS release. BIOS update was painless with the .cap file loaded through USB 2.0 jump drive (FAT32 format).
Overclocking through ASUS AI Tweaker in BIOS is stupid easy. This was previously called CPU Level-Up.
I don't normally write reviews, but if you want a board that just works great and a BIOS layout that is standard ASUS excellence, I recommend this board.
Overall no complaints, great value and quality.
