I beg you not to waste your money or time on this book. I bought it for the 3 Full Tests; the tests were not useful. (Note: consider paying for the ASWB one-time $85 practice test. I just took the LCSW exam and the ASWB practice version is the MOST similar to the real (also ASWB) version. Trust me. Money well spent.)
Please see the attached for some examples. It's as if the publishers did not care enough to come up with four viable answers. At least throw in some social work, clinical, diagnostic terminology, but instead, they offer Mozzarella (two questions in a row by the way!), Postage Stamps, Fishing and Sleeping.
Beyond the many spelling mistakes, the study guide portion of the book was not terribly helpful or thorough -- other books covered LCSW material in a more comprehensive way.
If the book weren’t so sad, I’d laugh. But I was too stressed to laugh, so I returned this awful book.
Don't buy. Don't buy. Oh and don't buy. You're welcome. Best of luck!

I am sorry to say this but how this book ever got 5 stars is beyond me. Even the LMSW exam review guides where more complex than this book.

What it *is*, is a book that is well enough edited to look good and be free from major problems, with well laid out sections for different subjects, and most importantly of all, practice tests. For any type of certification test, you need to get familiar with the language of the field and how it's used. Just knowing about social work is not enough to pass the test. You need to understand the way the terms are used and how the language of the test questions is used. With three practice tests, this is good preparation for the exam.
