1.) The fuse is not removable so if the fuse burns out you can't replace it.
2.) The cord swirls, so my iPhone has to recharge upside down because the distance from my outlet is just a little short to where I keep my phones when they are charging.
Lastly, the unit I bought came DOA. I contacted the seller (YRLess) and they sent me out a replacement unit very quickly.
UPDATE 10/01/10: My sister-in-law, her husband, and best friend bought the iPhone 4. I tested this charger on their iPhone 4, and all 3 phones charged correctly.
It works with Verizon iPhone 4 and AT&T iPhone 3GS; and I really like the design of an additional USB port, perfect if two iPhone users travel in the same vehicle.
One small problem is that the cord is short; if you own a car with charging port far from driver's seat, you will find it difficult to keep the charger on and talk on the phone at the same. But it works fine if using with the port under the airplane seat, for example, AA MD80.
This charger is in a reasonable price -- I work in the cellphone industry so I know the BOM cost of this kinda stuff is usually a dozen RMB or so; but I do appreciate the distribution and logistics. So as long as it works (owned for about a month now), it's a great product...
What is truly amazing is that while carpooling with a coworker, I "lost" my charger. After he searched his vehicle and effects, not finding it, I was about to give up. The following day, my girlfriend informed me that she found it...in the dryer. Apparently, I had left the charger in the pocket of my coveralls and it went through the washer and then the dryer. Since it was so clean now, I decided to give it a try. To my delight, it worked perfectly. I continue to use it each day, and after nearly a month, I guess it may need washed again.
Buying here, the charger did not arrive in retail packaging, although it is AT&T branded. It came in a plastic baggie that was taped shut with a barcode sticker.
The charger itself works and feels just like the one from AT&T - which is to say: it charges my iPhone 4 as I'd expect it to, and using any USB-powered audio device with the additional USB port will carry alternator noise (a buzzing sound that ebbs and flows with the speed of your engine, basically).
I can't say that the charger I received had obvious signs of being previously used, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if it was "refurbished" rather than something new that just wasn't in retail packaging.
Overall, it does what it's supposed to. The construction isn't particularly good - certainly not as good as the (admittedly, more expensive) Digital Lifestyle Outfitters DLZ95543,17 Auto Charger for iPod & iPhone (Black). For the price, you probably can't do much better. But, it might be worth an extra few dollars to get something nicer.

Works great, never have had any issues with this. I use it to keep my ipad or phone charged while I am in the car. Good price, use it all the time!Published 10 months ago by Chelsea
I don't use this anymore due to having to buy all new chargers (thanks, Apple), but it worked well for the short time I had it.Published 14 months ago by Amanda H.
I use it daily, and it has remained working since I purchased it. It is February 2015.Published 17 months ago by K. Olsson
