Doesn't work - screen freezes - not recommended.

This card is a waste of time. It worked so poorly that within a day it started crashing. First freezing the screen and no response, then the computer started recovering itself after the screen freeze about a minute later. My card looked new and the fan worked well, and card did not get hot, but it didn't work good in a system it was designed for, my Dell Optiplex 780, as this was originally a Dell video card. I do not recommend wasting your time. My system has never had crashing problems, ever. It has 10GB of RAM and windows 7, SP1. I tried drivers it automatically downloaded and drivers from the AMD website. Neither faired better.

I feel like this review should be in two parts.

The first part, I will say I have had absolutely outstanding service from this vendor. He went above and beyond in serving his customer, and he even went as far as to call me in my office at work to check and make sure that I was getting the appropriate product for my needs, and that if I had any questions he would be available to answer them. WHO DOES THAT? This vendor. And apparently, this is the only vendor, because for as many times as I have bought things online, this is the ONLY time a vendor has gone out of his way to make sure I was provided as much support as he could offer. So, even if this product had turned out to be terrible (which it wasn't) I would still offer 5-stars here because I am confident that ANY problems a customer might have with a product, this vendor would go out of his way to resolve.

Now, the card itself was fine. It worked adequately, and the vendor provided some really great supplementary materials in case I needed to do any troubleshooting during installation. As it turns out, I did! I had some issues getting the drivers for this card to work properly, and even after following the vendor's detailed instructions, it wasn't working quite right. I wound up working late that day, and spent about 3 hours total on installing the card and getting it to work, though admittedly about an hour of that time was due to my own ineptitude in overlooking something I needed to do initially.

If I were rating ONLY the product, I would probably give a 3 or 4 out of 5, but this vendor is outstanding, and if I had contacted him with a request for assistance I suspect I would have probably spent about 30 minutes on installation instead of three hours (that's what I get for being stubborn).

Came in Early.Very early from the estimated time it would come which is a good thing.Package came with driver cd and a split cable for vga.I thank you for that.The gpu is amazing.This is my first gpu so installing this was great for a beginner.This hardware can achieve many tasks at once without slowing it down.It is very quiet and runs my games very well.The games I play are from 2012 and below so the game selection was very wide and I had no problem running the ones of my choice.Anti-aliasing woks well without dropping too many frames.Was disappointed how small it was but that was because I did not know how big gpus were in the first place.I suggest ordering from Ken's computer shop as they delivered very early,came with useful items that contributes to the product,and satisfied my needs.I love my gpu.

Let me first point out that I don't normally review products but I had to comment that the level of customer service was beyond excellent from this seller!!! I received an email and text from the seller to confirm I was ordering the correct model video for my computer which we found I had order the low profile when I should have order the regular. Luckily we caught all that before the order was shipped.

Overall the graphics card was suitable for the computer game I needed it for and the installation and setup was very easy and smooth. I was up and running within 20 minutes. Definitely an upgrade from the on-board video I was using on my Dell.
